Today is always the day... head off to Dillards for 50% off the sale price sale.
Started the shopping for Christmas, 2010. Shopped for me. Probably one of the best bargains was a box of "Shannon Crystal", Dublin series (I collect the lead crystal). Pretty expensivie and there was a punch bowl set I was able to get for a pittance at $16.75. I only got it because a nice gay store clerk held it back for me. Probably wouldn't have spent the money otherwise. Some great clothes bargains and people spending LOTS of money.

However no 50% all ties in the store like last year.... icon_sad.gif

We were in Branson, Missouri last weekend and went to the outlet malls and found sheets, towels, candles, cookware, clothes, underware and shoes too. Some more that 50% off. It was a bargin hunters delight. Now the problem is were broke. icon_rolleyes.gif

I just came back from Macy's where I picked up a $29.50 tee shirt for $6.25 and a $45 tie for $9.37. Best I've ever done at Macy's.

I was very disappointed in Macy's sales. They had all their jeans for buying full price and they'd give you a $10 coupon towards anything else in the store... wtf? Went to Kohl's and bought 6 different shirts under $60 including tax (which is 9.5% here!) Feeling good icon_smile.gif My Christmas gift to me, actually about my only Christmas gift period icon_sad.gif

I managed to get a whole heap of good quality tshirts and shorts, plus a few shirts for work at really good prices. But I was slightly disappointed at the amount of crap that was around. I mean, if I could fit into a 2XXL shirt I'd have been in clothing heaven....

Had to wait on Sears garage so wondered around the store..........surptize I found two Dockers slacks that I wear to work . Orginally $39.00 marked down to $29. Marked down to $14.99 and when I checked out the rung up $9.99.
Not bad for any after Christmas deal. AND they were plain khaki in normal size so really surprized.icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif
