How to fix a crook or muscle pain in your neck from too much strain from lifting weight

    Could anybody help me out. Today I was lifting hard doing bicept curls and a little bit afterwards I got some muscle sorness in my neck. I do not have the insurance to see a chiropractor or doctor for it yet. how do i relieve this uncomfortable pain inmy neck?

    Wait a few days to see if it goes away.
    They always say to put ice on a muscle strain, but heat has always worked better for me.
    If you're still suffering after a few days, pay cash for the chiropractor.
    Otherwise, you'll probably be suffering until you do.

    without saying that this is your problem, many people do not understand that stretching is NOT just something you for for 5 mins at the end. It is a fundamental part of training, and if you neglect it then you can develop aches and pains from lifting.

    Workout out more often.

    Ice
    Compression
    Elevation

    soreness will go away in few days. It happened to me all the time. I usually take Tylenol or Advil sit in the sauna & jacuzzi.

    See a massage therapist - that way your whole body will feel good after it too icon_smile.gif Think of it as a treat for yourself as well.
