Because my skills as a photographer have recently come into the national spotlight, I have been forced to turn down many offers. For that, friends, I do apologize. However, I was contacted recently by a young model in Chicago who asked me to fly out and immortalize him in a few photographs. I was, of course, flattered, but not surprised. When I got in touch with the owners of the Melrose Diner (who love my photography as well) they begged me to do the shoot right there in the restaurant. Below are a couple of my amazing professional photographs. If you have some photos that fit in this theme, I'd love to see them and possibly offer some advice on how you could improve on your photography skills.

When I called Thomas (Kinkade, because he loves my photography) he said he was working on a painting as a late Christmas present for me, so he couldn't contribute on this project. Which subject are you saying is attractive, though?

If you're not going to post the famished ass you photographed at Filene's Basement, get off my couch.

It's probably from Jaqueline Smith @ Kmart.

If I am reading Lostboy's meaning correctly....there is a user on this site named G_Force (G_f"A"rce is more like it) who seriously claims to be not only a successful photographer, but also a professional model. icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif
Take a look at his profile for a small yet disturbing sample....icon_wink.gif

(If that was not Lostboy's meaning, well I apologise to Lostboy. However, you need to look at it anyway! :lolicon_smile.gif)

Yes, most intelligent people would have. However, then it might have gone over G_f "A"rce's head. icon_wink.gif

A couple of my ex-BFs. I doubt they understood the subliminal meaning of this shot:

    DSC00175_2.jpg

Guide to this photo: An actual derelict building the day before it was demolished. We got inside and I asked my 2 exes to strike various poses in this room. I let them do largely what they wanted, while I snapped away, using available light without flash.

In my personalized concept of this shot, the ruined sofa represents my conjugal relationship with them, junked and ready for the scrap heap. It stands broken between them and divides them. The guy on the left reflects on the past, in life truly reluctant that our relationship ended, frowning at the wreck before him.

The guy with his back to the camera doesn't know what to make of the other one, or the place he finds himself in. He doesn't want to be there, repelled by its implications. He & I were still dating at this time, but the relationship ending. Does the guy across the sofa represent his future? All in a room that reflects the lives of the 3 of us: aging, falling apart, past renovation, soon to be torn down and gone.

Hasn't it occurred to anyone that the entity known to us as GF--- is in reality just an online persona? Behind the mask may lurk a Dadaist genius.

Mostly I do bland touristy crap these days, lost my interest in artsy stuff. Here's one of the 2 ex-BFs from that B&W shot above, shown below at the Vicaya estate. I was trying to express his truly refined appreciation for beauty, being a President of an art museum, though this is little more than a candid telephoto snapshot I grabbed as I saw him contemplating the view, not posed.

Ordinarily I crop a lot tighter, but the geometric dome of this "tea house" fascinated me, and I wanted to minimize him, and make the eye work between the dome and him. I have other crops of this, some that include the water below the bridge, but there are ugly wooden pilings and other things down there, whose incongruity to the beauty above I didn't want to contrast.

I thought this might help. In the long run it costs less to educate, is not vulnerable to STD's, and produces oxygen. I changed the studio name to assmunch. I thought that made more sense than Sterling.
