I had no idea I had a crush on him... absolutely none.

    Weird. Same thing with me.

Captain of the swim team in his Speedo...made my skin hot and I didn't know why.

Same thing with Brad Pitt from Fight Club.

    Cigarette. Blood. Damn.

Prince Valiant and Tarzan from the comic strips and books.

Peter Brown from "Lawman", TV show, who wore the tightest jeans ever.

    Clint Eastwood in "Rawhide"

A male cousin who shall remain nameless. I chased him around the house naked and dripping wet when he towel-slapped me in the shower.

Another nameless handsome and muscular cousin who taught me to mountain-climb.

efost291 saidWhen you were a kid (not out or maybe not even sure you were gay) who did you think was the hottest guy around? like celebrity or video game character or even cartoon...

Well, when I was a kid we didn't have video games, and cartoons mostly consisted of talking animals, like rabbits and ducks and pigs. Not a lot to get excited about there.

But what we did have was old black & white movies from the 30s & 40s, which suited our B&W TVs quite well. And so my hottest guys were the likes of Tyrone Power and Errol Flynn, and even Clifton Webb, with his outrageously effete personality (and who of course was also outrageously gay in real life, though I didn't know it at the time, our natural affinity overcoming my own delusions about being straight).

There are more men in the current generation that make me pant, but your question is about our childhood, so anyone contemporary is out of the running. Except perhaps for Sean Connery, who seems immortal, and was already doing James Bond when I was just a teenager. Now there's a man!
