EDMONTON - Anger and threats erupted on the Internet over the weekend as people reacted to charges against four young people who allegedly broke into an Alberta house and cooked the family's cat to death in a microwave.

Its really outragious. The fact that the guilty parties are teenagers is irrelevant. They had no respect or compassion for property or for the life of an animal. I get tired of hearing about crap like this.

Tsk! How were these kids brought up? Perhaps they should be micro-waved too and see how they like it.

This happened in a suburb just outside of Edmonton, where I live. Today's newspaper has reported that the suspects were outed on Facebook. The police have since shut down the offending pages because they contravened the Young Offender's Act.

It always makes me laugh when the interviewed parents talk about what a good boy their son is after he's committed some unspeakably cruel act. Even if one kid was the ringleader, what were the other idiots doing hanging around with a psychopath? Just along for the ride?
