As I have posted recently I am leaving Arizona for a short time and my path is actually taking me to Richmond VA and then on to Omaha NE after that.

I need to find a good gym and places to hang out. I know no one in Richmond and would love the help.

    Thanks Guys.

Oh man, one of my mates used to live there. He referred it to "The Suck".

Richmond while a modest sized city is not really know for it's parties, you can either head further north to DC or Maryland or south to the Hampton Roads area.

I don't remember VA having any kind of scene or anything. If all else fail get some bros and goto bars. It's all what you make it right icon_biggrin.gif

You can find a few small sized gyms in the city tough, it's a college there I forget the name right now though.

I have friends in Philly and NYC and up in DC. My main concern is a gym.

    Hey man,

I live near Richmond...the only real scene exists in bars, and they are pretty clique-y. The good thing about Richmond is youre only an hour and a half from the beach and the mountains in either direction. If you are looking for clubs and the such, you should make weekend trips to DC or Norfolk.
Have a great time in VA, its a beautiful state. Say hi anytime.

Norfolk is wanna be scene it's all the same, just two gay bars that are dominated by the older crowd. While not bad, it's not buzzing with people.

VA is truly beautiful, I miss it each and every time I see someone mention it
