Good idea. Speedo should license retailers to sell them only to qualified bodies.

Edit for intended sarcasm, perhaps an eyeroll. icon_rolleyes.gif

It is common sense that speedos or any snug fitting athletic attire should only be worn by those with physically in shape bodies. I think that it is sickening that some overweight, beer bellied slob tries to wear a speedo. However since this is a free republic, you cannot really ban someone from wearing the attire that they want no matter how out of shape and disgusting they appear.

I don't really see what the problem is here, it's a old fella in speedos, he isn't grossly overweight, nothing is showing that shouldn't be showing... Whats the problem? or did his aged body offend someones delicate sensibility?

People can wear what they want. Old men with speedos and big girls with tight shirts that squeeze their stomach downward like an over-ripe melon are entertaining to watch. Let us not take away this privilege.

    Ditto

I dont see how a larger bathing suit is going to help. I would commend him on not having a big pot belly at his age.

Wow, lilTanker and I actually agree on something. I don't see anything wrong with this. How would it be any different if he was wearing board shorts? In my opinion, wanting to avoid seeing that smacks of denial about the aging process.

You guys are as shallow as an evaporating puddle. Seriously, do you ever do anything except worry about your (and everyone else's) bodies? Piss off.

I dunno....it seems the older a man gets the less he wants to wear any clothes....I think it is a fashion mistake just like the OP does, not a serious rant against the elderly...and he does state "ANYONE WITHOUT THE RIGHT BODY"....that's why I don't wear a speedo unless I get into "beach shape".

It's funny that you say its a fashion mistake as the man in the photo is Giorgio Armani.

As with most of the men in the slide show on the TMZ site that's linked to above, he's European and probably just wearing the same style of swimwear he's always worn.

When you get older other people's opinions matter less. That's one of the perks.

Looks fine to me. Shame we can't see the face. He must be here on RJ.

Is that a police motorcycle he's leaning against? Has he been given a fashion citation? icon_rolleyes.gif

My word, you guys lack a sense of humor!! Maybe I didn't make it clear (since I was in a hurry when I posted that) it was intended to be humorous coming after the 'europeans have all the fashion sense' crap that a snot-headed poster used to post on here.icon_rolleyes.gif
EDIT: Man I hate this new forum post...I couldn't see the thread nor my OP while replying, so now I see that the LOL's and the smiley emoticons icon_cool.gificon_lol.gificon_wink.gificon_eek.gif were cut off from the original post.

    I APOLOGIZE for that!
