Hex Bars....

    Anyone ever use a hex bar? What are the advantages you think? I have seen one in my gym for years now and have never seen anyone use it.

    I believe those are for deadlifts. Supposedly they are better than using a conventional straight bar because you don't have to worry about the bar scraping/bumping your shins. And it helps promote proper/ideal deadlift form.

    I normally use it, along with a towel or two, to help built a fort when I'm playing "The Alamo". Sometimes I just bring a flashlight and read a scary book in there too.

    Yep, just a deadlift gadget, which probably is more ergonomic for the human body.
