So, I'm new to sauna manners and wondering what's the protocol for such a thing? I'm at the gym, in a towel, in the sauna. A guy comes in and gets naked and sits kinda close to me.... Not that he's unattractive, but c'mon I hardly know the guy! Then he strikes up a conversation, naked... What do you do in this situation? Ask him to move? I dont want to be rude, and I dont want to seem uptight... Any Advice?icon_confused.gif

whatever you did seem fine. He didn't do anything to you, just chat right?
If they make inappropriate move, just told them to stop, not unless that's what you want too.

Some guys are more comfortable nude than others. I'd just shift away a bit and chat.

As far as I know it really depends on the sauna...we have a coed sauna at my gym so most people would prefer you have something on your naughty bits while in there...men are lucky though because we can basically just walk in with a towel on and noone's the wiser as to what's under it.

Just be comfortable and don't be afraid to move around until you are...you aren't indebted to someone who sits too close to you to stay there...seem uptight if you have to, that person is not your buddy (unless they are lol).
