    Please take action, today.

Also, apparently the CA Supreme Court has temporarily blocked the trial's rebroadcast on YouTube.

"Unlike previously reported, early this morning the Supreme Court blocked video of the trial from being posted on YouTube, even with the time delay, "until the justices have more time to consider the issue."

It's confusing whether it's the California Supreme Court in this instance. See the link that an emergency appeal to the US Supreme Court was filed Saturday by the supporters of Prop 8 and against equality, and said review has been delayed until Wednesday by the SCOTUS.

See other thread on this http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/777454

Also this case is being heard in US Federal Court, I think. I'm not clear on jurisdictions and authorities among the California State courts, the California Supreme Court, US Federal courts, and the US Supreme Court, though.

Anyone here who can clear this up?

My bad. It was actually the US Supreme Court that blocked the YouTube rebroadcast, not the CA Supreme Court.

And yes, it's in federal, not state, court.

Thanks! And I also signed the petition to Obama..... yet I'm not sanguine about his taking quick action on this issue, unfortunately.

If you think the WH is going to touch this
I got some Condos in Las Vegas you might be interested in

This is a political hot potato that Obama is going to steer way clear of until he sees where it's going to land

That maybe true but it's no time - in their mind - to become embroiled in such a controversial matter like this that will drown out everything else they want pushed forward in the media right now

Not that I agree with that assessment It's just a political reality

This is a great opportunity for Obama to show what a fierce advocate of equal rights he isn't. I'm guessing he'll seize the opportunity with gusto.
