I don't baby my car as much as I used to. But I do like keeping it clean. Driving around in a dirty car annoys me for some reason. icon_lol.gif

I don't care too much about the rims. They're factory rims anyway. And the brake dust from the Brembos fucks them up anyways. I'm thinking about just painting them flat black.

I love my WRX for what it can do.
It gets regular maintenance. And once a year it gets clay barred and waxed.
I'm not as meticulous about its finish as I used to be.

...I always park in the back of the lot away from door dingers and shopping carts. Some things never change.

I love my Saturn VUE, it's the perfect city car. Small enough to fit in small places, suitable for trips to Tahoe for a day of snowboarding, back seats go down to carry larger items, my full size greyhounds can stand up easily in the back, it has all the fun factory add-ons for a comfy cruise but it's not so special that I freak out when I get dings, dents or scratches, I grimace for two seconds at new scratches, then I giggle... best thing "it's paid for".

I love one of my cars -- most are tools -- and I most especially love my truck.

I love it and I can't let it go. It just hit 100k miles! (seriously) Still has many years left in it. It's a 4x4 and gets a work out from time to time. Nothing fancy but still looks brand new on the inside and it's the best damn box on wheels I've ever owned.

I, too, love my car! She gets a hand washing every week, rain or shine. A full on detail spring and fall. Goes under a cover when not in use. I spend hours with my car and I have always loved cars. That would explain why I am on car #22 since I was 16. My latest installment is a Hybrid. My first one. Quite a difference from my Avalanche I had before, but I really do love it!

Yes. Her name is Bonifa Harifa Sharifa LaQuiesha Jackson, but everyone just calls her Miss Jackson. She got me through senior year of high school, all of college, and grad school. She's kind of old and busted up now. I doubt she will make it past 2010. I'm planning on moving to downtown D.C. this year to rely on public transportation. I'll miss her when she dies.

Supposedly Saab drivers are the most emotionally connected with their cars, I certainly do.

I don't love my Xterra. Wish I'd gotten a front-wheel drive SUV based on a car platform like possibly Ford Escape or Mazda CX-7.

If I had either one of those, I might downgrade the car to a "like" too! icon_razz.gif

Finding a good bf may be hard, but you can get a dog tomorrow.

Nothing shallow about taking care of the vehicle that you drive. Not sure that those activities qualify as "love", but definitely a strong affection for. Bah... that's psycho babel... I love my Jeep Wrangler... but rarely wash it... and never wax it. What can I say, it's a Jeep.

My car (2007 Honda Civic EX) has a name, Chi-chi or Chich for short. I talk to her sometimes when I'm on a really rough road or dangerous driving conditions like "C'mon Chich, we gonna do this together don't fail on me." That's about the extent of out relationship though. LOLicon_razz.gif

My vehicles are meticulously maintained and as nearly spotless as I can keep them. They are all washed at least once a week, hand waxed 9 months of the year and detailed 2 times a year. They are all driven daily and sit outside 24/7/365 in the snow and rain and heat and cold, etc. I really LIKE my truck, car and Van, but.....they are replaceable possessions... I would HATE to replace them, but would and will when I need to. icon_cool.gif
