I have a friend who is considering piercing both nipples. He asked my opinion and I don't have strong feelings about it either way. What do you think? YAY or NAY and why?

    Hmmm.

I don't have strong feelings for it, either.

I guess just do it? Haha

If his nipples are an erogenous zone for him, I have heard that it compounds the sensitivity.

If you wear a tight t-shirt, then you'll have 6 nipples!

I had both mine pierced and it gave me 4 of the most sexually aroused years of my life. Just getting dressed in the morning was a joy... the slightest brush against them would send shivers through my body. Then i had one tore out in a fight, I took them both out at that point, the pleasure wasn't worth the excruciating pain.
Before them and now after, I'm still not into nipple play, I only liked them pierced... bizarre right?

It's totally a personal decision. I have nothing pierced and no interest in it. But to each his own. Same with tattoos. I have a smallish one on my back, and that's all I'd ever do. But on some guys I love lots of ink.

Tangent alert: This made me think of a friend who got a tattoo recently and asked for my opinion on it. He already had it... what am I going to say? "It looks absurd?" It's permanent. I told him it was awesome.

personally i like symmetry, so i got both mine down. healing can be an issue. refrain from any semi rough play for a few weeks. i had rings, the skin and the entrance/exit started to tear a bit, not saying you'll have the same response. the good thing is if you don't like them you can take them out. i suggest getting barbells.

It's definitely a personal choice and I for one am not a fan of them. They may be nice to look at on the right person, but I'm always afraid of ripping it out by accident while messing around.

Nope. The risk of infection and complications (getting it ripped, pulled, etc.) isn't worth it.

I had my right nipple pierced, and the sensations were quite intense if I wore a heavy shirt or layers.

Tell your friend that he needs to be careful if he gets a ring. My ring got caught during some rough foreplay and…
But my nipple is even more sensitive now!

Go for it. They can always be taken out later if he tires of them. The holes are small enough that they will close up. I have rings, but he might start with short barbells. When the needle goes through there is a half second of somewhat intense pain, but I actually kind of liked that. icon_biggrin.gif

Nay. Piercing risks your health without a serious warrant. I paid medical claims for 8 years. Although I have somewhat of a skewed idea as to what is safe and what isn't, I just can't get out of my mind all those claims I paid in regards to piercing issues, including ripped off ears and fatal infection.

RowBuddy saidNothing against people that have them, but my first reaction when I see a guy with them is "eww". Once I recover I usually say "what a shame to ruin such a nice body". But that is just me. I know for a fact lots of guys have the same reaction to my face. So we are even I guess.

I don't think that you can say "eww" and "what a shame to ruin such a nice body," and also claim that you have "nothing against them."

But anyway... it's hard to believe somebody having that reaction to your face. It fits nicely with the hot body.

The greating about peircings is if you decide you don't like it , you can remove and it'll heal up.. no big deal.

Excuse my ignorance, as I haven't spent much time on dairy farms. But are cows' udders usually pierced?

The cool thing about piercings is that It's the least committal form of body art. if you get tired of it or decide you really don't like it... you can just take it out. Unless you've been deliberately stretched most piercing scars are barely noticeable.
You just can't do that with tats, scarring or branding

    Yea, or with ear guages.

    Or lip guages...
