    Just wondering....

For you "regulars" who have over 1,000 or maybe even 5,000 posts on these forums, what do you do with your days? I may have a quick minute too look over a post or two a day,but I always see the same guys posting on every forum... but I'm also a student so I have plenty of time to surf the web.. so work? no? just curious not being offensive

Wow I have 1012 - never would've looked if you hadn't posted this. I do it while I'm eating lunch or having coffee ( lately insomnia ) - I have a job, go to school part time and train 6 days a week. Realjock is pretty much my social life since I don't really know any gay guys around here. When I visit my friends out of town, I avoid the computer completely.

I am retired, and disabled. A good part of my day is spent indoors at this computer. But I also have a fairly active gay social life in South Florida, which I chronicle here. I just returned from our annual 165-mile bicycle ride to Key West, raising money for HIV/AIDS charities.

Nevertheless, your point is a valid one. The online world (and particularly the gay online world) is a boon to many of us. I lived for a time in a very desolate part of the US, and over 10 years ago it was online connections that allowed gays to find each other, and to socialize. I would have been a hermit without the Internet.

You're a young guy (and I've been to La Crosse, BTW), your question a good one, but also indicative of an innocent view of the world from where you are. To quote from Shakespeare's Hamlet:

"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy."

LOL .... I agree with Lost

But really it's called being stuck in front of a computer all day at work
when you need a distraction from time to time
and good looking hot men are always the BEST distraction icon_cool.gif

I give myself lots of me time. But thats easy to do because I don't have children.

But like this morning between post I've been shampooing carpets, as we have another warm day ahead of us. in a moment I'll be in the shower about to rush off to gym for personal training.

I'll come home, have breakfast, maybe in front of the computer, go back to me carpets, maybe post some more, then in the afternoon, I'll be at work.

I may be moving another 10 cubic meters of garden soil with just one wheelbarrow, and come and check out the forums for a break. I get to do many other things, than play with RJ.

    Time to hit that shower.

PS. But if I'm at Hawaii, you'll never find me at RJ, coz I'm on those black and white sandy beaches, or on top of Mouna Kea.

Haha mate at least 12% of my posts were made while I nodded enthusiastically and looked up at the power point screen while pretending to pay attention in lecture.

You'll have mastered it by your sophomore year, don't worry ( just watch out for the TAs)

    Dear Slim (original poster),

Some of us have an overflowing brain with a wealth of knowledge, and reason, through many years on the planet. It would be a disservice to humanity not to share it, even if they sometimes aren't smart enough to listen to the very obvious.

Yeah, my complaint is that it's a little picked over and frequently left overs. Occasionally it's regurgitated spew that someone claims as new. I like to show up for the company, but I just move it around on my plate and eat when I get home.

Did you know deleted posts still count?

I try to keep my post count on the uppity with innate flirtation and innuendo.
