    –adjective
causing disgust; offensive to the physical, moral, or aesthetic taste.

Limbaugh suggested that Obama was happy for the quake in Haiti, as his administration will "use this to burnish their, shall we say, credibility with the black community, in the ... the both light-skinned and dark-skinned black community in this country. It's made to order for them."

Well, on this issue it's kind of a toss-up between Limbaugh and Pat Robertson, who's once again made some asinine linkage between a natural disaster and the failure of a people to adhere to his own brand of Christianity.

I think he must see himself as the embodiment of one of those Old Testament prophets, who went around haranguing people that God would punish them all if they didn't shape up. Only in Robertson's case the claim of Divine Retribution comes after the disaster, which hardly seems fair, not affording people a chance to mend their ways before the Holy Wrath strikes.

Limbaugh, on the other hand, has already revealed his game plan: make Obama fail. But since both he & Robertson command legions of faithful followers, even such transparently unscrupulous motivations are unlikely to weaken the blind support for these guys.

I don't listen to the guy, and couldn't care less what he says. He says all of this bullshit for ratings and money. He knows that by saying that stupid shit that people will get up in arms and bring ratings to his show.

I don't give a rat's furry fanny what Limbaugh says; but the same applies to what Obama says. I am a Libertarian and do not trust either Democrats or Republicans. If a politician's lips are moving he is lying. My policy is vote the bums out.

You may not give a rats ass, but there are millions of Republicans and sadly to say gay republicans who admire Lumbaugh.

I know there are gay republicans on this site who have expressed their support to Lumbaugh.

Let's here from you Gay Republucans and dicuss this matter about Rush.
Not about President Obama.... But discuss what Limbaugh said.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> while I think overall you make a good point but actually I think we should speak against media giving the likes of Limbaugh a forum to spell out such hate as this example shows. I'm not suggesting anything but pressuring the media owners in ways that make it unprofitable to promote the likes of him. Public distaste and pressure worked with Lou Dobbs afterall, it can work against Limbaugh. Too many weakminded people follow and buy into this idiots every word, so the majority open minded population do nothing to their own demise. These kind of issues call out for action against them. Boycott products of companies who support and advertise on his show, and spread the word, make this shit he spews out an issue that works against him, not for him.

I refuse to listen to Limbaugh's show, so is there a way for me to get a list of his sponsors that I can boycott, and write letters to?

I agree with this. I beleive we need to stop supporting an entire party because if you do, you are going to get both the good and the bad in those parties. It's time to be discrimnatory and select the good from each party, while the bad in each party is shown the door and warn them not to let it hit them when they leave. I beleive anyone who votes a straight party is being foolish. I've never done that and I'm never going to because there isn't any of the parties who are good in all matters. I pick and choose the best in each. Ithink the problem we are running into though, that anyone who would be good, doesn't want to get involved in this corruption from both parties. Instead of health reform, we should be talking about government reform. The self serving has to stop.

Even though I agree with what Rush is saying about how sick Obama is, I don't listen to him. I listen to the Alex Jones Showicon_biggrin.gif, like I am. Does anybody else listen to Alex Jones?

I don't really listen to Limbaugh because anything I have heard from him ,I never liked half of what he said. I don't find him all that interesting. He does a lot of griping and complaining and in a very sarcastic tone and he doesn't seem to offer anything positive or constructive. I tend to avoid people who grip and complain all the time and never seem to have anything good to say about people. I am generally a very happy person and always have a smile on my face because I look for the good in people and not always the bad. People who have a negative attitude all the time and are constantly complaining about everything under the sun are not pleasant to be around and they can drag you down into negativism as well. There's a time and place for constructive complaining, but when a person's entire life is absorbed into complaining, I can't stand that and have to separate myself from such people.

That's why I don't listen to him and I don't know why some of you keep listening to him. You'll become just like him , if you do, because it's constant complaining that he does. ,

Gay republicans and their leader Rush Limbaugh

I wonder if Limbaugh would accept your appellation, to be known as the leader of gay Republicans? Would he be flattered to have such lap dogs, or reject them as he has all other gays?

Certainly Limbaugh is the de facto spokesperson for the US Republican Party, as their own leaders have shown, by their apologetic suck-ups anytime one of them appears to offend him. Whatever Limbaugh says, they parrot.

But as for gay Republicans? (Has a greater oxymoron ever existed, emphasis on the "moron"?) Straight Republicans mock so-called gay Republicans behind their backs, for being the "useful idiots" that they are (per Lenin), collaborating for their own destruction. I could care less about them destroying themselves, and good riddance, but the potential damage to the rest of us does concern me.

Perhaps we should start calling them "GQs" but not after the magazine, but rather "Gay Quislings" after the WWII traitor in Norway, Vidkun Quisling.

That's why some days I don't open the newspaper, I shut the TV off, my computer is shut down for the weekend, my cell phone is off and I'm out on the lake, where the fish don't complain, even when they get a hook in their mouth, lol or I'm out in the woods, breathing in fresh air as I hike and explore a beautiful creation. It's heavenly-- only the sounds of water on the shoreline, or the sounds of birds, chimpmunks, and raccoons, and black bear and deer at night around a cracking camp fire--not all this constant NOISE of bitching and complaining.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I'm not sure Red---since I never listen or watch anything he's on, except for where other media are calling him out on what he says. I'll try to find something on that without having to listen to his bullshit. Media Matters might have something, since I think they were involved in pressuring all those advertisers to drop Lou Dobbs.
