As a proud 420 advocate, I believe this is a great step in the right direction for New Jersey, and I hope the rest of the country soon follows! One step closer to decriminalization!

I know the new law was passed in the last few days, but the articles I've read have had some contradicting information regarding what medical conditions warrant medical marijuana. Where will the line be drawn as to what medical conditions are deemed "serious enough" for a medical marijuana prescription? Will it be reserved for only those with terminal illnesses? Or will medical marijuana prescriptions be written as freely as antidepressant prescriptions for things like anxiety? I feel like it will be tightly regulated at first, then loosen up its restrictions as time goes on.

If anybody has any legitimate information, please share! icon_biggrin.gif

I would definitely vote to legalize "medical" marijuana if the legislation passes, New Jersey will become the 14th state in the US to legalize medical marijuana. But unfortunately that effort turned out to be a flop because of congress knocked down the law before it went into effect with an amendment.

The people of the State of NV also have a new medical marijuana proposition in the works...

I would suggest checking with MPP (Marijuana Policy Project, Washington D.C. Lobby) for the most credible, current information on the "War on Drugs" and the progress we are making as a nation.
