    G'day!

So the guy I am really into proposed that me and him take a trip somewhere away from Texas for Spring Break. He mentioned Miami, The Keys, and Atlanta (this I am not sure why).

What US city do you think would be cool to go to for Spring Break and why? Please list any activites in the city you mention that we could do as well. Thanks and Cheers!!

Why not the obvious? New Orleans!
The local activities are food, drink, and a street life and nightlife like no other. And it's only 45 minutes away on Southwest Airlines.
As one Houstonian to another, New Orleans is irresistible because it's the anti-Houston. Houston is clean, industrious, and almost nothing in it is older than the fifties. New Orleans is decaying, languid, and everything in it has a past that's celebrated in song and story.
Between New Orleans and Atlanta? No comparison! And Miami? One beach is the same as the next.

it depends on when your spring break is!? different cities might be more fun at different times...

let us know. maybe someone will know about a specific event you might like.

You'd regret going to Atlanta. It's a nice place to live but I wouldn't want to visit there.

As a beach lover and connoisseur, I couldn't disagree more with the idea that all beaches are the same. There's a heluva lot of difference between Galveston Island and South Beach.

Alright, we narrowed it down to Ft. Lauderdale or Miami for Spring Break. I realise they are close by, but which is really the place to be? Anyone ever been?

    Cheers!
