Catherine The Great of Russia would be one of my number one people. She was big on equality in education, the arts and many other things to for the people of Russia. A truly beautiful person.

While I am a big Catherine fan, she wasn't all that. She talked big about equality, education, and freedom but when it came down to freeing the serfs nada.

She wasn't about to lose any portion of her absolute power; hence no constitution.

OP: When I saw your headline, Ghandi was the first person I thought of. I'm glad you did too.

Please take note of the OP's posting. I think you missed the point. Dig a little deeper.

I got the point, basically most inspiring, influential... etc. Why can't I use her? You can't be beautiful on the outside and inside at the same time? LAst time I checked, you can.

I think you need to change the headline to "The Most Beautiful People (on the Inside) throughout History."

Okay so that person who put their mom's picture up is wrong?

No, just because you odn't know her, doesn't mean she isn't one of those "Beautiful throughout history" people.

AND REGARDLESS, how do you know she isn't beautiful on the inside or better yet, how do you know she doesn't apply to this topic at all?

Exactly... you don't know. You just judged her based on her looks... wow....

I agree with what you said, and she had to work had to get to where she did from a minor German Princess to the Czarina of Russia. She did love Russia; as do! Yet she did do a lot, and you can still see much of that today in the Hermitage.

Yes but only for her look, many people who had her as a boss, would disagree; she ruined and scared many people too. Unlike her mother in law Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, And the Queen will be one of those beautiful women too.
