Alright .... so I watched one episode of this Ridiculous show on MTV
    The Jersey Shore
Being Italian myself it was almost painful to watch
They should have named it Skanks and Douchebags because that's who they put infront of the camera
and sad to say the guy with the best body was the worst one of them all

    Fake tans
    Hair icon_rolleyes.gif
    Steroided out

But it's one of the highest rated shows on TV
    293.jerseyshore.sorrentino.mike.lc.12090

And who the Hell names themselves "The Situation" ???icon_neutral.gif

I got addicted to this show not too long ago. It is so bad and so wrong but that snookie bitch keeps getting punched in the face...anyhow..."The Situation" is named that because when he takes chicks home there is "a situation" icon_smile.gif not just his Abs like he refers to on talk shows

Never seen the show but I love how SNL makes fun of it, especially when the heavy-set SNL Regular plays Snooki. It reminds me a little bit like Chris Farley doing any one of his female impersonations.

He also mixes a little Benny Hill in with his Snooki impersonation, funny.

    Check it out:

i LOVE that show, i hate when ppl say it makes italians look bad, honestly, it makes all 20 yr olds look bad, so what who cares? if they had 5 mexicans that called themselves chulas and chulos and callded it the gulf coast shore no one would care.

anyways the situation is hot but his face isnt, but he looks odd to me, on the show he has these HUGE arms, and even tho hes ripped the rest of him is pretty small... id rather have ronnie

    ronnie Pictures, Images and Photos

Its must see TV for me. These guys are harmless, all the negativity before the show aired wasnt really warrnated and actually all the cast is lovable in their own way. Ronnie is actually a really nice girl and the girls are actually pretty cool too

Id love to be between a Mikey and Ronnie sandwich.

As someone who has lived in Jersey all my life, people like them certainly exist down in Seaside and up to Belmar. Like the cast though most of them come from Staten Island..lol

Rumors are a 2nd season is on the way.

This show just makes my skin crawl. Italian Americans should be livid! It's not really one of the highest rated shows on TV, not even in the TOP 25...but I doubt it's even that highly rated compared to other more popular cable shows.

That being said "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" is all the trash TV I can handle and, admittedly, I can be addicted. They are crazy! LOL!

It WAS funny, the 6-pack on the "Situation's" BACK had me on the floor. And the remark at the end to call her "Garfield" because she's orange and loves lasagna was so deliciously cruel on so many levels. Rarely watch it anymore, but glad SNL can still come up with social commentary.

Why do people Bi*** about the show? Seriously...? If you don't like it, don't watch it.

It's not "Life of a true Italian."

    It's called "Jersey Shore."

What goes on in the show, is what really happens on the Jersey Shore and those are basically, the type of people that go there.

    You should watch PBS instead.

I think the show is hilarious and will usually watch it if I come across it.

Lighten up, people. It's trash TV for entertainment.

Haven't watched it, have no interest. If I'm going to watch a 'reality' show, it will be something were people do something.

After reading the comments from six of the guys here whom I like and respect - I think I'll pass on this show. (I barely have time to catch the shows I actually like so I sure don't have time to sit down and watch stuff of little or no worth).
