Secret codes on gun sights. Kind of reminds me of the Indian Mutiny. The anti-British told the Hindus that the coating on the casings of the powder cartridges that the sepoys had to bite to let the powder out was beef fat (sacred animal) and they told the Mulims that the coating was pork fat (prohibited). Truth was that it was neither. It was an early form of petroleum jelly (vasoline).

I can find references to biblical quotes in everything. If you take my Social Security number and add the first three numbers you get O (15th letter) and add the second group and you get G. That is the start of Ogden, Utah, so the last four numbers of my SSN refer a passage in the Book of Mormon.

Now there is a conspiracy theory for you.

According to Maddow, the company confirmed the characters were verses. If that's the case, this isn't a conspiracy theory.

I am familiar with the circumstances of the Indian mutiny. But I don't think you watched the video fully. The Gun company is knowingly adding those prints and they knowledge it. How is that a conspiracy theory? The company has never kept it a secret either.

Yes. Fascinating. Because Jesus was a bloodthirsty war monger. I hear he was a big fan of nuclear war too.

This has nothing to do with Jesus or the war. Does having bible versus on the guns sound normal to you?

According to ABC news, Trijicon, the manufacturer of the sights confirmed the placement of Biblical verse numbers on their sights. (http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/us-military-weapons-inscribed-secret-jesus-bible-codes/story?id=95757940).

As someone who has relatives in Afganistan, I don't much care what's printed on the sights, so long as they help soldiers survive firefights.

Trijicon also produces sights for the police and consumer sectors -- they're best known for tritium "glow-in-the-dark" sights which allow aiming in low light situations.

The military needs to tighten up its procurement contracts to exclude religious references, particularly where the equipment will be used in Muslim countries.

They (the mfr) were just awarded a 650,000,000 American Tax Payer Dollar contract to keep doing what they're doing. Fuck you President Obama. Is this what you meant by "God is in the mix" you fucking pig!? Yeah, you inherited it, but you can stop it and stop it now, no discussion.

Muhammed ate at Arby's, Jesus drank at Starbucks.
