I'm very interested in tattoos and all it's diversity. I know there are lots of tattoo posts on the forum but I figured it might be cool to share pictures of your cool tattoos and make something fun out of it. I personally don't have a tattoo but I am planning on getting one this year. Just need to get a few clich├ęs out of my head first... or accept them. Soooo.... Anyone wanna play the game?

I was thinking about a stickman, waving with a top hat, walking down some stairs into my ass.

    ...kinda 50/50

maybe best just to draw it on first, just to be sure it is as classy as it sounds icon_biggrin.gif

for the longest time, I've wanted to get a swole ass amish dude on my right arm. buff as shit, sleeve rolled up as he's flexing his bicep and scowling like he's growling. sort of the like fighting irish guy but amish and shit. and there's fire all around him and it looks fucking badass and says "born to raise barns"

This I got in celebration of my bike trip along the Mississippi River. 2500 miles with only the river to keep me company. It's a green ship's wheel. Sorry the picture sucks, but I don't have many good pictures of it. It's this, just without the steamboat in the middle (and no text):

This one is my subtle nod at pride about my German heritage. My last name is German for king, so I got the crown to show that I'm proud of my heritage.

Not a great pic (or haircut). Tattoo is a Celtic triangle with the colors of the rainbow flag, to be both a gay pride symbol and a Celtic pride symbol. I later had a pink triangle added around it.

I've had a tattoo for almost 10 years now and I don't think I've ever had a picture of it. I also can't take it myself, because it's on my back...eeerrrr...i guess I could in a mirror....but alas I am WAY too lazy for that.

I have an egyptian Eye of Horus on my back. Got it right before I turned 18. Still look at it today and love it! I am thinking about getting another tattoo, but it's a matter of finding the time. I want a black tribal phoenix. Cliche true, but it symbolizes something for me!

Just a couple... will be starting my chest/ribs once my tattooist http://www.joharrison.co.uk/ comes back from her *current* 6 month tour of the US and South America... icon_biggrin.gif (she was away for 12 months last year on the 'Sweet sting tour')...

She's a girly girl yes but she wanted it so I guess it was her pain to endure.

It don't hurt *that* much most of the time - and even when it *does* hurt, well, it's only pain and pain passes - but afterwards, you've got the art and that experience for the rest of your life...

Thanks! It's the only one I'll ever get (probably) so I wanted it to be right.
