    Most people in New York think it's a bad idea, from a poll I saw the other day. But polls seem to mean nothing these days, anyways.

    As Jarhead said, pure Hubris.

    He is painting himself as a centrist but has no centrist appeal. His is not a fiscal or social conservative by any stretch of the imagination so he has no appeal to Republicans. He is the poor man's Clinton and so has no real appeal to Dems. He would take up space in an already crowded race, like the love child between Mike Gravel and Ross Perot.
