HIIT ... can't get myself to do it

    I know HIIT works, it worked 2 years ago when I was on this awesome exercise arc trainer, kinda like an elliptical

    and it worked. I moved from that gym and that city, so I've tried the regular elliptical, the bike and the treadmill and none of them are good at HIIT, its too impractical on all three,

    how do you guys do it?! I love lifting, but dread running, (but I really need it).

    Lostboy has really good HIIT tips that don't involve using equipment.

    I just posted a thread in this section about doing dancing for HIIT. Even if it's perhaps not the absolute most efficient (I don't know how efficient it is) it is probably the funnest.

    Don't run. It's high impact. Lots of folks hate it.

    Do stairs. Do bike. Do rowing. Run bleachers.

    Stairs are way more intensive (7 times). If you're gonna' train, train smart.

    I'm confused as to why a stationary bike or the elliptical would be impractical?

    You can swim too! I'll take your advice though chuck and try stairs :3
