Okay, so I've decided that I need a new look. Any ideas ha ha? I personally believe the better someone dresses, the more attractive they appear. Plus since I'm kicking major ass in the gym, I may as well reward myself by dressing well.

The hat is pretty adorkable. I think it just depends on what looks best on you and what you enjoy wearing, but it is fun to get some advice and see what other guys think is hot.

I agree, and Rhule08, you look like a real fun guy so you actually make that hat work pretty good. Don't listen to what someone said about deep vnecks. I think they make you look tacky.

Ultimately though, your personality will match the outfit. Some people pull off tank tops really well, some pull of suspenders with that geeky look really well, and some pull off the cowboy look very well. you have to find your niche

Looking at the pics in your profile, you know already how to dress well. Just make sure that you feel great in the new clothes. If you feel great you'll look great.

Fashion Mags and blogs are good places to start..

When you shop at your favorite stores it's best to take a friend or ask the associates who work there for suggestions on your look.

It's going to be trail and error and some time, to find what works

It's taken me 2 years since changing from a urban look to a more form fitting and I think better looking clothes and I'm still throwing out clothes to this day. But to each it's own when in doubt, a nice fitted white t-shirt and some fitted blue jeans is never a bad look.

Best of luck to you icon_cool.gif

Best advice I can give you is it's way more about fit than about style. Your priorities shopping should always be:

    1. Does it fit well (not pulling from too tight or bunching from too baggy)
    2. Does it flatter my shape? (for guys, looks wider in shoulders, narrow at waist)
    3. (skip this if money is no object) Does it go with other wardrobe pieces?

And remember, don't buy something unless you love it. If you don't love it, you won't feel good when you wear it. Happy hunting!!!

This is all that really matters. I can't tell you how many times people are like "OMG THAT IS PERFECT", but it isn't. We are the most critical of judges about ourselves. Make sure it fits you.

O and don't do deep v-neck, low-rise jeans, or flip flops or you will look like a punk, euro trash wannabe metro in college.

ha ha, thanks for being so honest guys. the rabbit hat that my grandpa gave me for christmas has been relocated to the back of my closet. although very ugly, i may have to dig it out once i go visit him again (just so he knows i appreciate it).

this proves that i have no fashion since what-so-ever! i typically just throw on some nice jeans, a polo, and my northface (plus the ugly hat) and go. i'll most definitely have to change that though. it'll be fun to see what clothes i like.

any stores in particular that i should check out?

you dont have to spend a ton of $$ or follow the flock buying whatever fashion magazine tells you to wear.

Wearing clothes and how it looks on you is about your confidence level. It can be a plain polo shirt or vintage t shirt and jeans. its all about how you wear it. If you project that confident image when you wear something it will work for you.
