    Oh yeah! Australia day!

Mates are coming over for a BBQ at my place. This, of course, will be accompanied by swimming, beer and the Triple J hottest 100!

I spent today cleaning outside the house. Sweeping leaves when it's 33C is not fun. Not fun at all.

Heading over to my best mate's castle for the day, and couldn't have asked for better barbecue/swimming/tennis-playing weather; we're expecting a balmy 36C in the western suburbs today... and the party starts in five minutes - wtf am I doing on HERE?!

    Happy Australia Day fellas!! icon_biggrin.gif

Well gotta go, people have arriving, gotta start the BBQ up soon for lunch. Have been outside with the dogs, and the tennis ball.

I'm having a multicultural day, where I have invited many new australian's to come and spend it with me an Aussie, and my American companion.icon_cool.gif

In my job I get to meet, and mix with people from many diffrent countries who are here to study, or now call my county Oz home too. It is many of these people I have invited over today. When asked by them what should they bring, and I've said nothing, and they have told me they would like to bring something. I've just said bring one of your Nations food,a national dish. I'm amazed at the food that is coming into my house, it's going to be a feast. I have Indian food, food of the Philippines, a Chinese dish, German Cabbage roles; yummy. Someone from Iraq has brought something that looks like a sticky pastry too. I just wish a Russian could off been here with some Russian food too.

Need to get back out the them, as they are walking around my garden going wow!
