Total Bottoms...Really?

I don't mean to offend anyone with this post but I've been meaning to ask this for a long time...

I met a couple guys that were "Total Bottoms" who had no desire to use their penis at all. I don't get this. I can MAYBE understand this for transsexuals or feminine men that identify themselves more with women and want to change their bodies, etc...

But these guys were...GUYS...and they seemed to not be interested in receiving oral sex or penetrating anyone or even touching themselves during sex...

    Is this common?

I remember talking to this guy once who had a similar story and I was confused to no end. He said he got all his pleasure from pleasing his partner. Very strange.

So they have a kink, it can because of gentic/biological sensitivity and/or behavioral reasons, but just because they are "GUYS" doesn't make them any less likely to have a kink.

I have encountered two guys that were the same way. I thought it was weird too, but maybe it is more common. To each is there own. icon_wink.gif

I'm sure it's no more common than guys who are into feet. Or pits. Or getting tied up, or spanked, or any other fetish you can bring up. Your question is only offensive if you are calling guys with this "bottom fetish" strange, or some such judgment. If you're just curious about it, then OK. And that's my opinion on total bottoms.

How can you liken being a total bottom (or, by the flip of the coin so to speak, a total top) to a kink or fetish? Does that mean that being versatile is the 'norm' for gay sex?

Ugh, I need coffee before I deal with this type of stupidity.

Well honestly some people really dig that..just the thought of please their partner alone is more than enough...I believe "pleasure" can come in many different ways so I don't think its wierd for a "GUY" to be that into that...truth is I think there is nothing more sexier than a masculine bottom being that into how Im making him feel when Im giving my all to please him.

Yes... it can be a fetish for some people. Absolutely. I never applied a "norm" to sex, it's all a matter of preference. All of it. Go drink your coffee, maybe it will help soften your judgmental attitude toward what people like and don't like during sex. That way none of us have to deal with that type of stupidity.

Exactly. It's what people like or don't like during sex. Equating that to a fetish or kink is stupidity. Which is most of the stuff you post on this site anyway.

    LOL. Meow.

I liken it to people who find one restaurant out of a zillion possibilities but that's the restaurant they always want to go to for dinner. Some people just can't get enough of what they like, and don't care what else is available.

    Sue 'em.

All I do is bottom. That's not a kink/fetish. Call me girly, but I like what I like.

how did this go from asking about the preonderence of someone's sexual satisfaction derived from anal intecourse only to a smackdown? yikes!

moving along, i don't want to call this a fetish as much as i would call it rare. no matter how submissive a woman might seem sexually in the mind of someone who may have never slept with one, they most definitely are not. They're just using all their parts in the way that they work. For a gay male to not even want to have his penis touched, that's rare indeed. I wonder if those person's respond to only penetration or rimming as well?

And bottoms aren;t just submissive. Haven't any of you had sex with a bottom who pushed back? Or rode you while you're on your back?

What is the difference between a sexual preference and a kink?

Liking to get fucked in the ass is a preference
Liking to get fucked in the armpit is a kink?

I really don't see the difference between the two, just that one has a crushing weight of cultural associations attached to it.

wow... so much stereotypical insinuations in the original post that any guy who only likes to bottom must be a transsexual or "fem."

Let me ask you this... were these guys uncut or cut? It makes a big difference....

I shudder to think what will be posted about people who can only have sex with Neptunian aliens while under gamma anesthetic.

I dated a "total bottom" for quite a while, and his reasoning was simple. He didn't want to stick his dick in a guy's bum because there was feces in there. He had a terrible fear of ever touching poop. Never mind there are ways to clean up, he just wouldn't do it.
