    Taping is worthless if the paint leaks underneath. Frog Tape is coated with a thin layer of superabsorbent material (like that used in diapers) that soaks up water to prevent paint from seeping beneath the tape. As it absorbs water, the edge of the tape expands just enough to form a break in the sheet of paint before it dries, so peeling off the tape doesn’t also tear off chips of paint. $6

    Oh caslon, I could have used that...painted my daughter's bedroom in stripes....masked it all off...painted them and when I took the tape off, everyone seeped underneath....ended up with not real nice str8 crisp lines....but still looked pretty cool....matched the bedspread...damn, I am gay! LOL
