if u guys go to blogs and are into music then u probably seen the strange viral videos that have come out. There are 3 so far, under the account "IAMAMIWHOAMI" on youtube. People are not sure who it is but have been trying to decode the numbers, for a long time now and they think its Christina Aguilera , because of the people shes worked with on her new album "Bionic" which is coming out in April. There is a theme of birth in the video, another thing that points toward it being Christina. Other names being thrown around are Goldfrapp, The Knife, and lady gaga. Take into account that the lens is distorted and the girl could just be a double hired to be in the video. The fourth one should come out in 2 weeks or so and hopefully it will reveal who it is. It has to be a major start because a lot of money were put into these videos so and indy artist being responsible for this is out of the question.

    First Video:

    2nd Video:

    3rd Video:

I have been keeping up with these videos. My favorite is the 3rd video!

But I am still convinced it's Christina Aguilera. She had been saying she wanted her next album, Bionic, to have a different electronic sound had been working with imogen heap and i think goldfrapp.

However, just recently her publicist just said they have no idea why they would think it was christina, its not at all! I think they are just trying to play dumb by saying that, so that makes me believe even more that its her. Kind of looks like her too. I don't think its Gaga, but it could be a possibility. This stuff kind of reminds me of Bjork too!

Also, at the end of the third video right after the whale sound you can hear a dog barking if you listen closely. Kind of strange but very cool.

    this stuff is old
it was done 10-15 years ago
sadly people are now getting into it...........
and if christina is tying to hop on the "cool train" thats sick....

add to that lady gaga, she is not doing anything new that has not been done before, nor outfits, or ideas...
its just that people are accepting it now because public media is pushing it down the avarage persons throut

if she wore the swan dress that bjork wore ten years ago, no one will say anything, infact may get her more plause and good attention.........

Im waiting for the phone call of that girl from The Ring telling me "7 days" and hang up.

Anyways really the first one kind of scared me a bit, but overall they were interesting..if it's Christina these videos seem (at least to me..I'm not a huge fan of hers) to be something she wouldn't do...but I could be wrong.

The knife has already released their cd online I think, so it cant be them. I doubt its an EP also. I am convinced its Christina. Shes known to put out hints and certain things before an album comes out. There are many other reasons I can give too, but I don't feel like leaving a huge post. haha

Goldfrapp's new single-Rocket. Ignore the excess sounds from the video game used as the video

As long as she's getting out of the 50's Im happy.

Besides, if she's going to emulate a style, I'm glad she's picking artists worth emulating

I'd be shocked if this is Christina. Her music all revolves around her voice, as it should since her voice is amazing. This music was done more in production and not by the singer.

I don't see where you gather that it is a huge budget?

Maybe they paid a pretty penny for the makeup... Nothing else. (I'll admit, the third video stumped me on some of the effects, very creative - whoever directed/edited this does deserve a big paycheck.)
I do believe I saw an
Adobe After Effects tutorial on how to create extreme closeups of snowfall which this looks like a variation of... Again, a talented student could do this with only editing software at hand, no big budget locations or gear.

The rest could be done at the student level with only one HD Camera... throw in a few animal clips, color correct it, add some 3D warping...

It's very hard for an electronic artist to be noticed without the backing of a big name like Christina. The music itself in these is nothing all too unique - unless they add a big name.

I found the last video interesting. It's symbolizes "Birth", at least I think so.
Supposedly if the number in the title is deciphered, it spells out "I T S M E BIONIC" (numbers as letters and use the dots as spaces)

Whoever it is hopefully their music will be as interesting as these videos.icon_smile.gif

The Knife's next cd will be released on March 1. It is only available for pre-order now. It is actually a soundtrack to a musical based on Darwin's Origin of The Species and is called "Tomorrow, In A Year.'

I don't think it's Aguilera, her vocals wouldn't fit behind this music in my opinion. I think it may be Swedish singer Robyn, she was supposedly back in the studio last year for a 2010 release and she has worked with The Knife on Who's That Girl. This is her level and of course next-level stuff. I would also think it may be a sound for Amy Lee of Evanescence. Anyhow, it def is someone big.

Yeah, not even close. The Knife are creative geniuses in my opinion.

I can't even believe I'm seeing The Knife being put into the same thread as Christina and Gaga.

I hope the album will be as interesting as the clips are.
Funny how many of us underestimate her.

Lady GaGa is doing a lot of new stuff... creation comes from ideas around you. She is taking that and making it her own. Ideas and creativity don't just spawn by themselves. It has to start from something. Most creation these days is done from other creations and it is elaborated upon.
