How funny, I have TOTALLY been on a pizza making kick lately!

Sauteed onions with garlic, mushrooms and roma tomatoes on an olive oil covered crust topped off with some feta cheese and a few pine nuts.

I could live on that alone I think.

DUDE I LOVE to make my own. I do Boboli Pizzas whole wheat, fresh tomato, fresh home grown basil, chopped onion, chopped garlic. 3 different kinds of reduced fat cheese. A little bertoli and bake, broil last minute to lightly brown the cheese...YUM!

I have not had any pizza in about a month!! My favorite pizza would consist of pepperoni, ham, onions and black olives and maybe mushrooms!! Deep dish, Chicago style.

Love homemade pizza, fun to make as well, even the dough. It isn't difficult once you've done it a few times..
If you like gadgets and I do.. get one of these Pizza Pizzaz pizza cooker.. it looks really really hokey but they are excellent. I've had mine for a few years now and it works like a charm plus it's fun.
here's the link so you can see what it is.. they cost about $35-$40 iirc

During my lunch hour, I usually bring Lean Cuisine's BBQ Chicken Pizza and add rotisserie chicken or Margherita Pizza and add Boca "Burger" Crumbles for extra protein and serve with a side salad. (Carbs are restricted from dinners to keep my weight low.)

I lived with someone who had worked in a pizza parlor as a college job, and could still makes pizzas totally from scratch, not even using a crust mix. Added the yeast to the dough made from flour, let it sit and rise, could throw it or roll it out, the whole deal. And who'd make it to order, exactly the way I liked it best, the crust thickness perfect, the cheese just right, everything. Great pizza!

Otherwise, give me a New York City pizza. Every time I go to Manhattan I include a trip to a local pizza parlor, one that makes everything by hand. And my favorite topping? Anchovies!

PAJohn saidNo pepperoni or sausage for me, thank you. I became a vegetarian 2 years ago and every time I see meat I think about the poor animals who had to live miserable lives and die to make meat for our tables. I am trying to become a vegan but still occasionally eat cheese and milk - but I'm working on it.

Dont worry, I'll triple what I eat (which is already almost enough to make me a carnivore) to make up for you!

You could start by making a large pan of meatza:

"For those of you who've not had or heard of a meatza, it's basically a pizza you make using ground beef for the crust."

I use either Boboli's WW Crust or WW pita bread for a mini pizza and brush it with olive oil. Top it with sliced tomatoes, italian seasoning, crushed red peppers and along with the cheese blend of mozzarella, fontina and parmesan cheese. Throw it on a pizza stone in the oven or bbq pit.

    Awesome!

By the way, check out this Egg & Sausage Pizza. MMMmmmm!!!
