    FLMAO!

I went a couple weeks back and ordered:
    A1 Steak Burger (42 grams)
    Lg Fries (5 grams)
    Choc Shake (12 grams)

Got home ate my meal, then had to go to their website to gather my protein counts (I count protein, not calories). I almost fell over when I realized I had just consumed 2470 calories in about 5 minutes.

Fast food is just so cheap and easily accessible compared to healthier items. Hmm, would it be a sin if the fast food places simply shut down? I don't think so... I can live without them. I haven't had any fast food in over 3 years and my body has thanked me heavily!

You can make a whopper at home. Not that hard to make. All you need a hamburger bun, meat, some mayo, some ketchup, few lettuces, two or one tomato, few slices of onions, and two pickles. There you got yourself a free whopper at home.

McDonalds is not good too. TRANS FAT.

Lets see if I can still remember proper ratios...

Top bun: Enough mayo to lightly coat bun, small amount of lettuce, 2 tomato slices.

Bottom bun: burger patty, two cheese slices (if with cheese) with six points hanging off of bun, 3 swirls of ketchup leading from outer edge of burger, four pickles spaced evenly on patty, but not touching, and three onion rings (not the fried kind) over lapping and not hanging off of the patty.

Ugh. I feel gross that I even remember that.

I am actually a General Manager at a fast food establishment, and have worked in fast food most of my life. I don't cook, so I eat a LOT of fast food. How is it that I am not fat? I actually do things other than eat. You know, like exercise and/or physical activity. Fast food don't make people fat, laziness does.icon_cool.gif

it begs the question when you have already crammed as much fat and salt as you can between the buns........ just what do you do, to get an up in the fast food world....

This is going to take some heavy fast food innovation... Ahhh the solution is here

Not ALL fast food is horrible. There are some 'okay' selections if you pick and choose. For example:

You can get a full size Asian Sesame Chicken salad at Panera which has 400 calories (and will fill you up).
    http://www.panerabread.com/pdf/nutr-guide.pdf

And El Pollo Loco's skinless chicken breasts are only 180 calories each.
    http://www.elpolloloco.com/nutritional/nutritionguide.pdf

While it's always better to make your own meals, if you're caught out and need to eat fast food, just THINK before you dine. As with anything else, it's a matter of making smart choices and doing what's right for your body.

This is why there needs to be a national "fat tax" of 50%, that so called "meal" would qualify and may even erase the deficit. LOL

    You're deluded.

Got you CMP handy? I'd love to see your blood work.

    Watch "Supersize Me."

Fast food is awful for you.

    It's too high in fat.
    It's too high in sodium.
It's too much at a time.
    It's too much sugar.

Ever hear the term GIGO? It stand for Garbage In = Garbage Out. That's fast food and your body.

You truly are ignorant if you can proclaim that it's not the food. Nothing could be FURTHER from reality.

Now, there's a few exceptions with menu choices, but, almost across the board, fast food is universally bad, and, in many instances, dog food would be healthier.

Any food that packs 76grams of fat, and 1200 mg of sodium is NOT good for you. PERIOD.

You're not fat because you consume as many calories as you burn. DOH! (You didn't know the answer to your question? Honestly, are you that illiterate?) Your body fat levels are likely higher than you think because you don't have much muscle. You can be thin and have a blood lipid profile that's off the charts, especially if you never eat any wholesome food.

there are some people who DO eat like shit but workout like a beast and they look great, ofcourse they burn off the trash they eat and can still maintain the low fat percentage. I know a few people personally who do that and they're fine. Chad Johnson loves to talk about how much mcdonalds he eats and you all know what he looks like. I personally can only have fast food once every 2 or 3 months because I usually have a stomach ache or throw up after eating it.
