some of you have noticed the tracks I've posted and have on my profile. his name is Pogo and he has quite a few songs out there. I shall post a few that really knock me off my feet. Sorry if these are repeats for any of you.

Once again....there are very few new things on earth....

Yes, son, we have met the enemy and he is us. Famous words from Pogo, a cartoon character possum created by Walt Kelly in the middle of last century. Pogo sighs out those words not in the battlefield but at the edge of a junk-filled swamp. Walt Kelly words below remind us to dedicate our resources to the battle raging within each of us.

There is no need to sally forth, for it remains true that those things which make us human are, curiously enough, always close at hand. Resolve, then, that on this very ground, with small flags waving and tiny blasts of tiny trumpets, we shall meet the enemy, and not only may he be ours, he may be us.

Pogo seems to make these re-makes because he appreciates music. not in that he is suspending electronic ' junk ' into the sonorous stratosphere. I'm not quite sure I follow you, stud. however, I do find the cartoon Pogo's argument to be quite poignant.

Just commenting on the name coming around again years later....and the environmental aspect even back then.

    Did like the music, though.

Well, it used to be Fagottron, but then he got a job at Disney (so he changed it to something less "offensive").

Isn't "Pogo" another name for Madonna Wayne Gacy, the keyboardist for Marilyn Manson?
