She was like a golden skin version of Barbaria Striesand...meaning the places she could take you with her tone and voice...

    ...

Her talent still takes me to far away places while im listening her tunes.....love her....

I saw her perform here in new york at radio city music hall years ago, the show was sold out but we gave the house manager a few bucks and he allowed us standing room access..

I have the new album, and it's really good. I personally think the title track is the weakest song on the album, but that's just me.

But overall though, it's exactly what you'd expect from Sade...it's smooth and sexy.

I'm a huge fan and am thrilled to see that she's back. The title track for the new album seems kind of soul-less and in the video she looks like she could be selling rate plans for a cell phone company. But I have lots of faith that, taken as a whole, the album won't disappoint.

I agree. Just last week, I heard her '80s hit, Smooth Operator, and thought that that song was timeless.

I always wondered what that was from "Sex and the City." Now I know if it was her song "By your side." Cool.

It's Sade. Who wouldn't get her new album?

Once you've heard "Smooth Operator" and "Ordinary Love" there is no turning back for something deep and touching of all the moods. She's one of the few artists of today who has kept her own style of music and can be labeled as original to this date.

Also damn if she doesn't look good.

like the modern touch of the new song, modern production with class and not overdoing it like Madonna and her new stuff.

Its been what 9 years since her last release and it was like 11 years before that. Sade makes us wait a long time but what other artist can take off for that long and still have major interest when she comes back and that release is quality. Im looking forward to picking up this cd.

I think my favorite song by her is the first I ever heard....Hang On To Your Love

Loved her early videos, very simple..how about those videos for Is it a Crime and Sweetest Taboo

I mean seriously she has some major hits...in addition to the above there's Paradise, Never As Good As the First Time, Smooth Operator, Your Love is King, No Ordinary Love, Nothing Can Come Between Us, By Your Side

She is the epitome of smoky cool and it looks like she has not aged a bit in almost 30 years!

She is the type of artist that should be getting awards, not the likes of Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne and Beyonce

    She is timeless

    So fluid so mellow

    Real music

And the fact that she has kept her personal life away from the media gives her major kudos from me!!! icon_biggrin.gif
