    Thoughts?

I thought it was the best show!!! They had no idea we were laughing at them not with them. Don't think this will work outside of NJ though....

They are being interviewed on the "TODAY SHOW" this morning (Monday, 2/1). Very interesting. They will be back for the second season according to what they said on TODAY. But of course they held out for big time raises.

This is a group of people deluded into thinking they're talented. They demanded more money. The U.S. is filled with neanderthals just like them, cheaper than a dime a dozen. MTV was wise to tell them to go fuck themselves.

Well, as the late Liberace said in response to mocking criticism of his talent: "I cried all the way to the bank."

I suppose that's what this group was doing, except they may have misjudged how much viewers will continue to want to mock them in some other venue, either individually or as a team. Without that show I can't imagine what else they can do of even passing interest to anyone else. So has MTV definitely agreed to their money demands? And relocating the show from the Jersey shore?

Love this show and despite what you want to think, its ratings show well so does America. Whether people like them as individuals is up for debate but people are fascinated with watching them as trainwrecks. I think they are pretty funny and actually have some redeeming qualities. I heard that they were only getting paid a few hundred dollars an episode for the first season so its not surprising that they want to cash out for the 2nd. They still are making over 5k for appearance fees as it is. I expect a couple of them to at least be able to stretch their 15 minutes of fame in other shows. They are a phenomenon right now, bigger than anything that shows like Survivor and Big Brother has produced.

Knowing NJ and Seaside, I think having it there again would just set the show up for trouble. Last year people really did not know a show was being filmed, now you will have every guido wannabee and every girl who wants to hook up with one and every guy who wants to start a fight descending on Seaside Heights. So I think the move will be helpful. I do think they could only get away with a 2nd season with this cast and then would have to recast or put it in another format.

Imagine that. A show not being filmed in the place where it is alleged to be....hm.

Vancouver has gotten more money from the Hollywood TV & movie industry than any whorehouse ever did!

Ahahaha, I love the Snookie appearances on SNL! They're my favorite of any of their celebrity parodies.

Relocate them the The Pines, Fire Island. They can all use some makeover advice.

I would want to believe that there isn't ANY place where those losers would fit in. Therefore, any place would accomplish what you wish.

Haha I love this parody makes me laugh every time.

I never really watch the show, only seen clips of it.
A lot of my friends watch it for comic relief , not sure if I will jump on board and watch it. Since I live in NJ they always ask me if I ever bump into people that fits the stereotype.icon_lol.gif I tell them not to take MTV so seriously.
