i don't like leather that much, but it's not over any concerns towards the welfare of animals. Dead cows and pigs don't care too much either.
It's how they're treated while alive that concerns me .

i don't like leather clothes which i find uncomfortable , and i'm not particularly fond of leather furniture either , that cold and sticky feeling under the hand.. nah.
in cars it's ok, because it's sewn extremely tight , but i like alcantara just as much.

I like leather, but, I like it better when the animal is treated with respect and not raised in cruel conditions just to make as much profit as possible!

    Yes, I wear leather.
    No, I don't feel guilty.
Nor, do I feel guilty when I eat a steak.

Agree with Xassantex & Lil'Tanker as regards the treatment of the animals while they are alive. I have lots of J. Crew suede and leather jackets and a Sawyer of Napa sheepskin coat. No leather pants though.

Thanks everyone for your input. There was an awesome leather jacket that I wanted to purchase, but I wasn't sure if I should seek an alternative to try and be "cruelty-free."
