    Addidas,
I look more athletic in addidas, as if i'm a competitor....
Nike seems to have crossed over to mass produced casual wear with no style to mention....

    wait.... nike or addidas clothing?!?

Are you joking....? People wear those things at school? Omg... what state is this?

    Usually the argument is like

    Abercrombie or American eagle.

    Hollsiter or express

    H & M or Nordstrom

    oh my...

I would NEVER wear NIke or Addidas... maybe shoes, yes, although I'm all about pumas, but never the clothing.

or wait... are you talking about gym clothing? because you mentioned at school, so I assume more casual wear?

agreed that in terms of clothing, it's pretty much a wash... i mean it's athletic apparel, what do you expect?

in terms of performance for athletics, nike all the way for durability, comfort and support

    Oh how superficial children.

No label is better than any other one.
Both labels appeal to different public and different specialty of different sports.
    Poser kids... pshhh.

I'd say neither Not Nike, Not ADDidas.
But I do like ADIDAS, especially since Yohji Yamamoto designs the Y-3
    ;)

Bet you didn't know that one.

    But seriously. LEAD. Don't follow
Get Coutured and use some Raf Simons. Shine with some Ingelmos or go buy some Rick Owens. While you're at it, ask Rei Kawakubo if Comme des Garçons have some 10.5's for me, and tell Junya Watanabe I'm waiting on his stuff. ;)

adidas makes some pretty cool stuff (not just athletic apparel, but casual/street wear as well if that's your thing). I was in the coolest adidas shop in Tokyo last year. I'd say they have the edge on Nike, in my own taste.

I like some of the Nike slogans though... I have a T-shirt w this print icon_cool.gif

    Label queens are retarded.

Ever wonder why so many people peg us as vacuous and superficial?

    One word: You.

Who the fuck cares about this crap? Wear whatever you want.

(That said, I only wear shelltoes. Really obscure shelltoes.)

I like Addidas because I like the looks better and it is cheaper than Nike(around here anyway). But I do think Nike has better technology and implementation(moisture wicking, bacteria retardant, etc). My favorite in terms of fit, comfort, style, and material technology however is Underarmor.

The really bad thing about Nike is that if I buy a large shirt, or even a medium shirt for that matter, the length of the shirt goes all the way down to my knees. This is a relatively new phenomenon over the past two or three yrs because I used to love my nike tshirts.

You're right, it's not a "label snob" thing. I trust certain name brands for my dress clothes, the same holds true for my activity clothes. I do on occasion buy off brands from Target for the gym, and not only do they look dorky they feel dorky. Like every time I get up from the squat machine I always about depants myself in front of the whole gym because the elastic is low quality and after a couple of months it feels like half the elastic bands have busted.

I have found a good brand for a tight budget, which is Champion. They sell their clothes at Target also.

If you're talking about casual clothing, i'd say adidas, nike is better for sports.
Anyway as someone said, those brands are nice just for shoes.

I buy Nike's very plain, gray sweatpants and sweatshirts at Scheels. For athletic shoes, though, I recently ditched NB for Asics.
