Here are just two glaring examples of such ignorance and hypocrisy that I am going to have to form NEW CUSSWORDS TO FIT THIS FOOL and his FOLLOWERS. the writer of the article wrote "he (bush) said the Iranian government ... needs to make itself accountable to its people" (DON'T WE WISH HE WOULD ALLOW HIMSELF, CHENEY, GONZALES, and his CABINET to be held accountable to their illegal acts) Now here's a direct quote from bush's mouth referencing some reforms made by some Gulf State leaders. -- "this new era is being built with the understanding that POWER is a TRUST that must be EXERCIZED with the CONSENT of the GOVERNED" LOL !!!!!! YEAH RIGHT bush !!! I'm sure his audience has read plenty about all the suits against the bush regime because his "POWER" has definately not been EXERCIZED with the american publics CONSENT !!! The article went on to say that bush "DECLARED" that "DEMOCRACY is the only form of government that TREATS INDIVIDUALS with the DIGNITY and EQUALITY that is their RIGHT" Yeah bush !!! tell that to all the victims of his war, and to the many random prisoners he calls "ENEMY COMBATANTS" that have been picked up and held without Habeaus Corpus rights, and to those who have been tortured against the standards of our own, and those laws of the worlds Geneva Conventions, and other Treaties, and tell that to all the prisoners rendered around the world to "BLACK SITES" and be sure to include the victims of BLACKWATER who the bushies gave immunity from prosecution to for its crimes !!! OK IT WAS THREE QUOTES !!! But I couldn't resist that last one !!!! MY GOD THIS GUY NEEDS TO BE IMPEACHED AND QUICK !!!!

    Q. "How would you improve education?"
    A. "9/11"

*clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap*

    Q. "How would you address health care?"
    A. "9/11"

*clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap*

    Q. "How would you settle the issue of God vs. Evolution?"
    A. "9/11"

*clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap*

Until you have a significant majority citizenship capable of rational thought, you're going to have an overwhelming probability of "electing" more chimps.

There is nothing wrong with fighting those Rag heads and showing them who is boss. What are you all going to do when there is another 9-11 type situation in the US. I kinda wish thatit would happen again to show the US that we can be attacked again. The Rag Heads are just waiting to get a hold of a nuke to put it off on US soil. Then everyone will be saying we should of listen to Bush. We are at war people die get over it. Shit happens We can not let Iran get Nuclear Power
nor any other country like Iran.

Why is every civilized person against war?

Why are you so for war?

The first question is easy. The second leaves us wondering what plane of existence you live on.

Perhaps we need a fictional Milliardo Peacecraft to show people like you just how horrible war really is.

If the leaders of the countries fought the wars themselves, there'd be precious few wars or a lot of dead leaders.

I was against this war before there was a war. I'm against this war because Bush lied to us, the UN and the world, then he ignored the UN completely, and got us in a mess we're not likely to get out of any time soon, nor are we likely to win. I'm against this war because far too many of our troops are dead because of Bush's lies, and some of them are my friends. I'm against this war because the Shrub obviously had a hard-on for kicking Saddam's ass from the word go, which makes it a personal vendetta, not a threat to US security. I'm against this war because it has nothing to do with 9/11. Military intelligence has found no connection between Iraq and 9/11. I'm against this war because war only serves to piss off more people and make more enemies which ultimately results in more wars, which makes even more enemies... its a never-ending circle that solves nothing. I'm against this war because its a convenient excuse for the Shrub to quietly take away our rights and freedoms (read the Patriot Act and the Homeland Security Act... the actual documents, not someone's interpretation). I'm against this war because I've checked my history, I've done my research, and I'm a free-thinker who sees through the political spin and all the smoke and mirrors. The list goes on and on...

I wholeheartedly agree with you NativeDude. I can write pages and pages in concert but I won't. Those that have a soul already know these things and the rest appear incapable of reasoned thought. Thus it would be pointless.

jprichva, I'm rather leaning to that conclusion myself.

Nookie23----well damn !!! What to say to --- "why is everyone on here so against war" Lets give some background to this war, and why we are so hated there in the Middle East. #1 probably the biggest reason is our takeing the side of Israel who has killed far more palestinians than the reverse, but we don't seem to get the full story over here of all the killing done by Israel. Israel run off the Palestinians from their land, I believe back in the late 60's, and have been building on Palestinian land ever since. Try taking my land and see if I don't become a terrorist !!! # 2 our country through the CIA deposed an Iranian leader and backed a more "democratic" leader a few decades ago, who ended up robbing the Iranian people for millions of $, which is what led to the student revolution to depose him, and then took embassy workers hostage. There was also the Iran Contra debacle from the illustrious Reagan and the first Bush, who incidently (through cia connections) payed off the Iranian leader to continue holding the hostages until after the 1980 election which helped them get the presidency from Carter. (you see it was an election issue) #3 We through the CIA backed Bin Laden in Afghanistan against the Russians, then when the Russians gave up, we just dropped those we backed and their country turned into turmoil and the talaban took over. (its pretty well proven that the CIA helped finance the arms it gave to Bin Ladens troops with "POPPY" money) #4 Iraq went to war with Iran in the 80's I believe, and through our illustrious CIA and government, we were backing Iraq, and also giving arms to Iran at the same time. #5 Its pretty well documented that there was a "false Flag" operation to get Iraq to attack Kuwait, then we go to war against Sadaam Hussein, what did we do again? we left those who had backed us with no help, to the mercy of Hussein. #6 I forgot an important point about Israel ( we have supplied them with the weapons to terrorize the Palestinians, and we supplied them with Nuclear weapons, but we decide to harass any other state in that area who wants Nuclear weapons. #7 Husseins Iraq was contained and did not constitute a threat to the USA, and those Aluminum tubs Bush tried to claim were used in the process of making Nuclear weapons was a complete lie. (Aluminum cannot be used in the Nuclear process because it melts down, he played on the American publics ignorance on this, it worked too !!) So there you have it !!!! Just a few of the legitimate reasons we are hated in the middle east, this war made it far worse, and basicly helped the terrorists recruiting efforts by the thousands of Jihadists. We will only continue to make ourselves more enemies by continueing to drum the battle cry for war, now with Iran. You See, they see right through all these actions of our government, we have brought this Jihad down on ourselves. So yes most well informed people are against this war, They in the middle east see us as aggressors, yet we declare that they cannot have weapons to defend themselves, we need a complete change in policy over there, which should start by as Colon Powell said the other day by "Minding our own business" quoted from the illustrious "PAUL HARVEY" Nookie 23 Does this give you a better prospective of the situation? I hope so, cause I am worried about your thinking to have such an opinion and others like you, and no offense meant !!!!

There's another point of major importance, I don't want to see any young man or young lady die unecessarrily, I wouldn't wish it on even those who say "this is war, shit happens" and appear to hold life so cheaply in their minds. It pains me to think of a young person dieing for some Neocons missrepresented war, and not getting to enjoy their finding love, maybe getting married/finding a life partner, having or adopting children, or loving others children and seeing them grow and be a success. The joy of these young folk having their first apartment, or home, traveling, and the positive things about those who have passed on without good reason, and how positively they may have effected our world. ALL LOST FOR WHAT? Their death certainly was not for our betterment, because that's been proven over and again to be a lie. LIFE IS AFTERALL THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON TO BE AGAINST SUCH A WAR AS THIS.

That's why we are banned from the military, why I had to spend my 24 years in the Army in the closet. They think we all think like you. Well I don't. Terrorists like to target people like you because your an easy target. So do gay bashers. I suggest you Kwitcherbellyakin! You owe your cushy lifestyle and right to piss and moan to those who serve and take on the terrorists on in their own back yard.
You just don't get it. This is a fight for the continued existence of western civilization. It's a good thing we have a leader like President Bush who goes after these terrorists. You won't get that with a Democrat.
