    Done. Read and Comment Please.

So I get a bit of mail today.
    zsk2l0.png

Now I pick fun here and there, but I couldn't recall making any racist jokes...ever. So I felt it was worth looking into. So I reply with a question Mark.

I return to find he replies with this.
    69dlr5.png
If you had to read it twice, don't worry. I thought he written back a blank at first.

So I go through a few of my topics and don't see an instance where we've spoken. I tell him and he replies
    717ec8.png
And that gave it away. I went to a thread where people where posting picture after picture of half naked men and I made a post with no text just:

    icon_redface.gif < This emote.

So already, since I wasn't even talking to him I have a major lack of concern; however, I can't get over how this guy thinks I'm a racist. So I ask how he came to that conclusion. He replies.

You know what, we had something in common. I just had to laugh too.
I wright back, for the sake of closure. And he does the same.
    r2rfar.png

Well, he taught me a lesson.

OK, so if you're giving us all the facts, and you never said anything racist to which this guy is referring, then he's a mental case. Lots of them online, have encountered a few of them myself.

So you block him, and put him out of your mind. Do you think you can gain points by engaging with a looney? Ever tried having a meaningful conversation with a demented homeless person? It starts to rub off, you know...

    Seriously...

I was going to start hunting him down to post a "icon_redface.gif" after every post he makes.

You will hunt NO one down. Then he has turned you into what he is, and he wins. Now calm down, block him, and forget about it.

Wow Red a great paraphrase of Richard Milhouse Nixon's final sppech as President to White house staff minutes before he walked to the copter in August 1974. I watched that speech at age 10.

Well, if it was, it was entirely unconscious. I was 25, a US Army Lieutenant, and I forget the exact words he spoke.

So why post the thread? What do you gain from that?

It is pretty uncool to post private correspondence, however ridiculous, in a public forum. The only conclusion anyone can draw is that writing to you means risking having the e-mail billboarded. The corollary is that you take some pleasure in humiliating this guy publicly for something that happened in semi-private.

    Why?

Hmmmm.....these comments about the privacy owed the random email attacker are interesting.

Just how did they earn the respect of the OP to deserve the consideration of privacy?

We were attacked right out of a the clear blue for saying on a topic about slang that some guys call each others faggots, AND we posted that we don't call people that.

That person sent us a nasty email calling us all sorts of things. I was tempted to post it, but they yanked their profile right after that.

In all honesty, I think this topic serves as a good deterrent to guys that do what was done to the OP.

I thought it over and I honestly don't think he deserved this said "privacy."
    Especially from me.
You don't go around the internet calling people racist for a reason. This is one of them. They just might show everyone your reasoning. (or lack of it.)
    icon_surprised.gif

If the only conclusion you can draw is that you risk having e-mails sent to me be billboarded, well you need to take that Wayne Fortune and tune your detective skills.

There is a clear difference between sending someone a hateful message and E-mailing someone.

I would've done the same thing. The one thing I hate the most is when people put words in my mouth or go on putting themselves as victims over a non-existing comment, more so on a really messed up misinterpreted illusion based on their own messed up minds.
