Scrolling on this phone can be a pain. Is there a way to skip to the end of a thread?

Also, someone said how to take a screen capture on an iPhone, but I can't find It on here now. Would you repeat it, please.

Someday I will figure out to make it ring so I can hear it. Right now it just vibrates no matter what I do in Settings. :-(

Don't know yet myself... I'm still trying to figure out my iPhone too!
I tuned in to this thread hoping for an answer myself.

    Really grampa.......

Nope there's no way to scroll down...just be thankful they limiti the pages to 20 posts or so now and curse those idiots that re quote 7 of your cat pics in one post

Pressing the home and sleep buttons together takes a screen shot and flicking that lil switch on the side so you can't see the orange dot makes it ring icon_twisted.gif

Home Button = Button on the front, underneath the screen.

Okay, this I know... Home button is the circular one at the bottom of the device that you push to get back to the main screen. Sleep button is on the top of the device.... right side (aka it's also the Power On/Off button).

What's annoying is that you can jump back up to the top of a thread (or any web page) by clicking on the grey bar where the time is displayed. But you can't jump to the bottom.

Turn your iPhone upside down and shake it like a baby!

It won't do anything actually, I just like messin' with iPhone owners.

I'm just thankful they finally fixed the battery issue for the newer 3G iPhones and iTouches. Before the download my iTouch battery would say 70% full, but by the time I would use it, it would go down to 20%, then die about a half hour later.

Yeah that doesn't make any sense huh? It's like they thought of putting the door knob on, just only on one side of the door!

If you're using the supplied Safari browser on your iPhone, go to RJ online. Then press the "+" function at the bottom of the screen, and you'll get the option to have that web page placed on your iPhone home screen as an icon. Next time you press that screen icon you'll go directly to RJ. And of course works for any other sites you visit, as well.

For not having sound. Look at the side of your iPhone with the volume control buttons. There is a little switch above the volume control. Look at it and if you can see a little red dot your phone is on vibrate. Make sure it is switched so you don't see the red dot. The lady at ATT made sure to tell me that right away as people complain their phone only vibrates. Hope that can help

I think that little mechanical sound switch is one of the iPhone's most brilliant features, despite it being the most old-fashioned, compared to all its touch screen magic. Most phones I've owned relied on some multi-function button to mute & restore the ringer, and often in combination with some other button sequence, while the phone was on and perhaps in some particular operating mode, or else you had to navigate through layers of on-screen tools.

Imagine, a simple dedicated mute switch that turns on and off whether the phone is active or not, in a way you can visibly see and feel. And similarly intuitive volume buttons. What will they think of next!
