AC with friend Antoine Maisani - co-owner of Easter Bloc - a pub in the East Village (NY). Note: Matching shirts.

Channel 7's Sam Champion with friend Shawn Bell - owner of a boutique called Bellhaus in Wainscott (Long Island).

With increasing numbers of guys of high integrity (and past age 40) coming out, this has to help our cause to convince mainstream America that our numbers are growing. Let more people see that many familiar faces they see everyday are great gay role models. I hope news like this helps the average voters think twice before they vote against our issues (like gay marriage).

Oh man - men in their 40s are the bomb for me (I'm 37) and these two are prime! Good seeing them out but dang sorry they're taken! (They haven't met me yet!)

These men will do well for us in coming out. I salute them being able to come forward without fear of career reprisals.

Jockbod - you're one hot dude (I'm new here) and I couldn't stop myself from reviewing your profile in a very thorough way! I love me some hot, hot over 40 men!

I agree with the sentiment of the original post, but isn't Anderson Cooper technically closeted? He's never come out publicly, as far as I know. Even though it's obvious to us that he's gay, I'm sure that "middle America" is assuming he's straight, because he keeps his relationships on the downlow.
