This past Friday one of my co-workers took pictures with his camera cellphone of a Baby Shower we had for another co-worker of mine at work! this morning he sent the pictures to everyone on his cellphone contact list! it sounds harmless and innocent right!? I got like twenty messages from him but I couldn't open the ones with images because I have that feature blocked on my cellphone! no problem there right? he has a tendency to send pornographic images to everyone on his contact list! so what is the problem with that!? the thing is my nieces and nephews (all minors) who are on my contact list (and not his) got those pornographic images he sent me on my nieces and nephews cellphones!

Well my sister and brother called me this morning very concerned, and want it to know how did my co-worker got a hold of their children cell numbers!? I told them I never share my contact list phone numbers with anyone, as a matter of fact I always keep my cellphone on me at all times and have never let it sit on top of my desk, ever!! frankly I don't know how my co-worker got access to my contact list cellphone numbers? I am pissed and embarrassed at the same time, so I don't really know how I am going to react when I see my co-worker at the office tomorrow! I called him today and have have yet to hear from him. This situation ever happened to any of you!?

Do you sync your cell phone with your office computer, like with Microsoft Office Outlook? Depending on how Outlook is configured in your office, co-workers can be able to access your contact list, as you can theirs. Anything you put into Outlook, whether by keyboard entry or by cell phone sync, could be visible to all your co-workers at their own computers.

But however it happened, clearly he had no business sending things to your family members, no matter how innocent they may have been. Now it's possible there may be some kind of automatic forwarding thing going on, from your account, but that should be evident to your relatives in the items they received, since they would show them as originating from you, not from your co-worker. But if they originated from him, then he's the one who sent them.

I would simply ask him about it. If he says he did send them, then I think he has some explaining to do, like how he acquired those numbers. It might even be a matter for the company management to investigate.

I am very aware of the Microsoft Outlook privacy glitches, so no I do not have any of my family's e-mail or phone numbers through that e-mail service. Besides our computers at work do not have access to any internet mail, nor are we allow to use our e-mails for personal usage! so that possibility is out of the question!

I like to know thou how he was able to get access to my cellphone's contact list!? the reason why my brother and sister called me is because they saw two pictures of me attached to the messages my co-worker send to their children cell phones! all the image message originated directly from his cellphone number, not mine!
