just ran my first 10k ever, and my first road race in like 5 years. got 40:56 (6:36 mile pace), which i don't think is too shabby considering i just had a relapse of my crohn's about 3 weeks ago when i was bed-ridden and losing weight left and right. plus i haven't been doing too much running because it's winter and it's really effing cold outside.

but yeah, i'm pumped and looking forward to training for the inaugural half-marathon sponsoring the crohn's and colitis foundation coming up the end of june. i'm gonna fucking destroy that shit.
