Who's prepared! I'll be food shopping tonight. I need to pick up all the essentials to have another great snow day!

How are you guys dealing with the current 2ft of snow in some places and the 1-2 feet more expected tonight and tomorrow?

Finally dug my car out of the foot and a half of snow from last time. Now, another foot expected. Could be worse, I guess. I hear some people on RJ are having terrible problems with getting sunburned... icon_sad.gif

    I'm loving this winter!
Big snow fan anyway, but the resulting chaos and suspension of routine is the icing on the cake.
Even Daniel Craig couldn't get me to go to the grocery store tonite. It's gonna be a madhouse.

We're expecting another light dusting, maybe a few inches. It's been too cold to really snow.

From the estimates I've heard, Philadelphia had 28.5 inches last Friday-Saturday, now tonight into tomorrow we could see another 18 inches! FABULOUS! Just so we can all do that math, thats ALMOST 4 feet of snow. I'm only 5'6"......im scared! If I fall into the snow I might never be found again!

    LOL

I was at Trader Joe's and Giant last night. Many shelves hadn't been restocked from the Super Bowl and Snowstorm, and what was left was being attacked like crazy. I've never seen so many gentiles in the Kosher food section! icon_biggrin.gif

My brother lives up in Falls Church and he doesn't cook. He did the smartest thing I've heard in awhile. He ordered a deli tray with Meat and cheese and sides.
    Smart move i think.
I'm sorry you all are stuck in that mess. When I was up in NJ back in 04 one night walking home in 1' deep snow i was done. Back to the south for me. Be safe.

just finished 2 days plowing on the tractor, sore butt & other places....now we're looking at getting another foot or so, guess i'll have to go out & do it all again! in town to resupply, i've got about $250 worth of diesel on the back of the truck to feed hungry machinery.

This has been the worst winter ever!!!

My dog is picky about where he goes to the bathroom, snow makes it even worse because he doesnt smell anything in the dirt...lol. So that makes our normally short-ish winter walks in the cold very long, wet/snowy and treacherous.

I don't know whether to complain or marvel at it. I've lived in DC all my life and have never seen this much snow.

Yes you have, you just remember the 80s well enough. The 90's and the 00's had unusually light amounts of snow for this area.

We already had the storm thats about to hit the east and received 4 inches here in Kansas.... most of it melted off prior to it really getting cold. It is to be in the 40's come the weekend and most of it will melt away. So glad
    we missed the burden... LOL
