So I need some advice. I have been with bf for several years and he is nit always the most sexual guy. Being thy I need something all the time, I am thinking about buying a dildo. Do they make Jo sessions better? Anything I novice dildo user should know about them. I kind of feel stupid by one but I assume it is normal for most gay guys to own one right???

From my experience, relationships are all about agreements. And, people grow and change over time. Agreements can and should be considered for renegotiation if one partner or the other's needs are not being met.

Before unilaterally introducing another dynamic that could solidify the differences in your sex lives (or drive you two further apart)...

First, have you tried to talk to you bf about both of your needs? If at all possible see if the both of you can work out an agreement that fulfills both of your needs and may include the introduction of sex toys.

Opening up communication, learning about and addressing each other's needs can even strengthen the relationship that you both have.

I don't think there is anything wrong with satisfying your sexual needs by j/o if your drive is that much higher than your bf's, though I would talk about it.

That said, I do have toys and use them. Not every time, but yes they do enhance orgasms (IME) and I'll admit that sometimes I need and crave that stimulation. icon_eek.gif

IMO better to self-satisfy than seek sex outside of the relationship. And safer, too.

I haven't got one yet, but I've had my eye on a Johnny Hazzard Dildo from Rascal for a long time, actually I'm just waiting for someone to buy it for me. But I do use one of those speed bullets and wedge it under my balls. Amazing ejaculations every time.

Personally, my favourite dildos are from Tantus and Rascal because of the materials. Tantus are made of silicone and will last forever and Rascal have these ones made from Sensafirm which is a hard core that's encased in a softer rubber so it mimics a hard cock well. And to clean them, just soap and water (take it into the shower) and Tantus toys can be thrown into the dish washer. Rascal do have Cyberskin ones but they tend to get sticky if you don't look after them. If you have sensitive skin, get one that phalates free, latex free or even antibacterial but silicone is a safe material for most people.

And maybe consider getting one that's the same size as your boyfriend, 'cos it might be misconstrued that you prefer someone with a bigger dick than his.

    This.

In terms of size, don't buy the smallest one you can. Your ass really can take a cock sized toy without a problem. I mean, it poops out cocked sized things regularly. Go for the medium and, if you like, work your way up to the monster inflatable dildo the size of a grown man's arm.

I've been considering one of those 'clone a willy' kits. That's not too vain, is it?

There's a wide variety of ass-toys out there. And every different type delivers a different kind of experience.

So think about what sort of sensation you want, and select accordingly.

If you like something close to real sex, the stretch, feeling of fullness and thrusting, a regular dildo or vibrator is great.

But if you like more targeted and intense prostate stim look into the many types of prostate toys, including the Aneros, various vibrating eggs attached to a solid stem for manipulating it, and some really progressive ones by Nexus, Lelo and the Rude Boy line.

Or do like someone I know and get a variety. You can play your but like a symphony orchestra!

Fucking yourself too vain? Definitely not icon_biggrin.gif But when people say that to me I don't think that's what they had in mind. But I would if I could.....
