I've seen filmmakers in high school with more talent.

    Ridiculous.

Well, at one point the subtitles say this is the first film he's made in which his dogs and Elizabeth Taylor are not seen. I lost interest after that. icon_razz.gif

OK, so I went back and tried to watch the rest of this mess. Some kind of French philosophic treatment of the issues of nudity and freedom, interspersing some old film footage of a woman taking her clothes off, contrasted with a contemporary guy and his own issues, and underscoring it with some song lyrics (which I couldn't hear on my computer).

The French are always doing this crap, getting all wrapped around the axle over nothing. A good example of why the French accomplish nothing, and always have to borrow everything they have from others, except their own abrasive attitude. As I've said many times, even the French hate the French. icon_razz.gif

SteamyWeenie said...he says to him that this is the first film he has ever been in that he's been treated like elizabeth taylor.

Really? I would have freely translated "c'est le premier film que je fais ou l'on ne voit pas mes chiens ni Elizabeth Taylor" as "this is the first film I've made in which my dogs and Elizabeth Taylor are not seen." I note the inclusion of a dog being cuddled in the opening credits.
