I have applied to all kinds of job, have apts listed i wanna check out, and am just waiting slowly until the time comes!!

It's hard to explain how i fell in love with PHX so fast but i did!! I will always, ALWAYS be a cali boy at heart (only place i have ever lived) and i'm sure ill be back someday. But i am definitely ready to start anew in a new place ^_^

Same here. I'm contemplating a move to another state. But nothing permanent. Southern California is my home and I know I'll return eventually. I just need a change of environment for the time being.

My first summer in PHX, we had 41 nights where the overnight low wasn't less than 100F. June 22, 1992, it was 122.5F; one of the few times Sky Harbor Airport had to close.

PHX is glorious in the winter. PHX is hot, hot, hot in the summer.

    105 at 0300.

Phoenix infrastructure is well done, but, Phoenix has had issues with being overburdened in growth and illegals.

Like most urban areas, you take the good with the bad.

Phoenix has a saying "the West's most midwestern town..." I found that to be true.
