"Join The Party Where Everyone gets *WASTED* "....... icon_wink.gif

Couple o' weeks ago - I pimped & whored out a lil' Independent new Horror film titled THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL - a good return to "oldschool" basics of tension/suspense horror filmmaking.

Now - I'm setting my sights on a different title. One I've prob mentioned before OR many times on here already. However, for it being THE first film the director made, as well as making it as old-school as a Rubix Cube & grittier than the texas dirt, this little "slasher" movie kicked me in my ass for SOO many reasons than the obvious. Here I present: ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE.

While it features all the ATYPICAL slasher movie Paradigms (the hot girl, a killer lurking about the vicinity, partying teens in a secluded far away area, drugs & boos, etc) - THIS film sets its apart from the rest of the brethren & makes some Damn realistic "POST-COLUMBINE High School" tones around it. These teens, unlike many of the hollywood ilk, are "real".

This film deviates from the usual as you half way through ALREADY know who the killer is - isn't any secret - however that doesn't mean there are MORE surprises & twists in store fer ya!! icon_wink.gif Nothing sensational about the Killer at all - not wearing a mask or inventive disguise - NOPE! - all he sports is a Hoodie & bookbag w/ arsenal of weapons (shotgun, Knives, etc), setting the tone & realism even bleaker than the usual.

If you take the seriousness/tone of the films KIDS &/or BULLY, mix it w/ the bodycount of FRIDAY THE 13TH, add some Grit from the '74 TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE , mix in teen social/isolation/body image issues of THE BREAKFAST CLUB, & a pinch of The "Columbine" massacre - & you got: ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE !!

I've posted two seperate (but both completely different Cuts but good!) trailers:
