So my last day at the gym was this past thusrday. I plan to go tomorrow but it would be a three day off and I feel like a bludger. I guess this is a symptom of addicition to the gym. Does anyone else feel awful when you take some days off from the gym? Is this unhealthy?

Absolutely. Exercise helps with my lingering depression. Also, I feel ...hmmmm.... is guilty the right word. ...that I will be losing the growth momentum that my muscles have from a consistent workout.

No, because I know my body needs a couple days a week to rest up after pounding away at it during the week.

I work out M-F on top of a very physically demanding job. The weekends are mine to do what I please (sadly this is usually cleaning the house up and computer upkeep).

If you intend to preserve the intrusion of your bubble butt into the personal space of others, don't miss a workout.

I get pissed at myself if I miss a day. I went running earlier, but skipped the gym...and now I'm heading to the bar. You have no idea how mad I am at myself icon_lol.gif

I hate not going to the gym. I am hungover as fuck still right now, but I'm forcing myself to go in about 30 minutes!

I just feel lazy and miss the awesome feeling after a good workout unless its a designated rest day...even when I'm sick, I don't like missing it (but I don't go to avoid getting others sick) because I just feel so damn good after going. I hate missing out on getting that feeling after...you all know the one I'm talking about; where you're sore, but don't feel it, get the runner's/exercise high and then when you sleep really well that night. Gotta love it...

I feel restless, like I need to look out for the nearest gym near me and run there haha.

Hate missing gym, no matter what the reason is. It makes me so lazy and that is not a good feeling.

Awful. I have a lot of nervous energy and if I don't expend it cycling or lifting weights, I will spend the next 24 hours figiting and biting my fingernails. I'm a fucking wierdo

I don't miss workouts. Unless I'm sick or half dead! After the Hell I go through in a given day, I look forward to "my" time in the gym. I must come off like a solitary monk when I'm there. I don't speak more than a grunt to guys - and I'm damn silent to women (like they shouldn't be there! Get out! GET AWAY! I've no time for you, women!)

sorry to rant - but I get the royal chase by women sometimes in my job, and I'm damn sick to death of it!

i hate it. for me working out relieves a ton of stress, so if a miss working out i tend to go pretty crazy and get ridiculously crabby.

I was out of the gym for three weeks because of shoulder pains. I felt amazing when I went back. Now I am out for another two weeks because of a sprained wrist. I feel awful so I tell my boyfriend to tell me how skinny and muscular I am. Makes it all better.

I hate days off. I don't always look forward to lifting, but i dread days that I don't. I feel like they are wasted days. I guess its the endorphins released when you work out.
