Is shaving your armpits hot? Is it too gay? I know everyone has a preference but I just can't decide on mine. Part of me thinks it's fem but then I see worked out guys at the gym who are smooth. Love to get your thoughts.

I trim, not shave. I don't like the bare feeling, but i say try it and see if you like it. It will grow back. icon_smile.gif

Personally I think armpit hair is hot. I shave mine every now and then, because my armpit hair gets curly and that is annoying when deodorant gets caked all in it icon_redface.gif

Trim is always good, but your a Man and it does not look right to shave it unless your a big body builder and entering a body builder contest.
I personal trim some, but for the most part all natural! icon_biggrin.gif

Aesthetics are a personal thing -- you seem to have no chest hair anyway, so shaving your armpits wouldn't be that big of a deal. If you don't like the look, it will always grow back. Guys who have more hair on their bodies can't pull this look off as easily. Personally I'm not a fan of it. I don't think it's sexy, and I automatically associate it with harbouring bacteria.

Being Hairy = Being a Man is a social construct. After all, women are also hairy (although to a lesser degree) and yet we seem to think it's ok for them to shave themselves down like a pre-pubescent girl. Multi-million dollar industries -- not to mention self-esteem -- are built around this notion.

In the end, they're your armpits, you'd only be removing hair, not your nose, so do what would make you happy.

When I have time I get mine waxed. It keeps the odor down and it looks better.
Some guys can pull of the pit thing. I think as we start to mature and develop we are "proud" of our man hair. Now it's a pain.
