    Love it.

Just like I stated in another forum......

I don't think the health of our citizens should be a commodity for sale.

    But that's just me

What's amazing is does the GOP really think all of The Public are stupid? I've been around and watched their tactics for decades now. Some folks really ARE that stupid, but, many of us aren't.

80 years after regular countries have health care, and just after the GOP had 8 years, they're wanting to "start over?" Why? Where are the proposals for universal health care from the GOP?

GOP gave Big Pharm a blank check with Plan D. GOP ran the deficit up by unneeded war and dropping taxes. How did the Dems do that? Honestly, I'm just not that stupid. Legislating against competition helps the consumer? Really? Since when?

I think I have found a new political hero here... and it's Rachel Maddow! She was much more eloquent than Mr. Weiner from New York, even though I agree with everything he said. His delivery sucked and his attitude was atrocious.

I think we should all base our opinions more on what we see on TV live from today's summit, rather than obviously biased clips hand-picked by MSNBC which show only the portion of the story that, of course, MSNBC wants you to see. Did Rachel Maddow air the response by the Republican after Weiner spoke? No, of course, not. They wouldn't want you to see that part of the story.

I love the fact that the Republicans were bitching about the shape of the table: http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2010/02/24/politics/politicalhotsheet/entry6240203.shtml

Oh yeah, please enlighten us...The point of the whole clip is that Rep Weiner was courageous enough to get tough with the status quo. We don't need to see someone else in order to see the one person the subject of the matter was about...icon_rolleyes.gif This wasn't about an exchange of ideas. It was about how to stand up as a Democrat should.

This is the whole day's House session from the CSPAN website. The segment begins at minute 304:54 and ends at 313:09

What's the issue, CuriousJockAZ? You've got nothing on this. Congressman Lungren withdrew his reservation to object.

I didn't see the response, didn't even know if there was one. I was merely making the point that MSNBC was showing one point of view (Weiner's) to express their point of view, and that watching the summit in its entirety would give a more honest perspective on the debate.

It cracks me up how some of you will rail against what you call the "Faux News Channel", but nooooooo MSNBC is somehow suppose to be this pillar of fair and balanced news reporting.

You attempt to discredit the clip by conjecturing a bias that didn't exist!! You're fresh!

Oh, please. A bias doesn't exist? What planet are you living on?
