The roads were clear when I went to class this morning.

I just had to shovel a 3 1/2 ft snowbank to get into my driveway. I hate this city.

A few minor snow furries here in Kansas, no snow anymore on the ground.
Cold and damp winter here (but we're lucky compared to most back east).
I noticed we are to be in the mid 50's before long... maybe we might get back toward normal.

Twenty seven inches here since yesterday with not much sign of letting up. My dogs are having a difficult time finding spots to go pottie. I got up at 6 this morning and am just taking my first break from shoveling (it's 9 now). My partner stayed in bed. When he got up he told me it's about time all the money we're spending on the gym started to pay off. If he says something like that again, I'm going to show him a different kind of payoff by lifting him over my head and tossing him in the lake.

This is from the blizzard two weeks ago. None of this snow is gone. It is now about 2 feet deeper than this. I'll put some pics up later, when my camera thaws out.

The windows on the left just make me wonder, timmy. I am sure there is a magnificent reason on the other side of the wall.

The house was originally just a summer cottage, like most of the homes on the lake. Additions and modifications put some things in odd places, to be sure.

    Thanks, Tim.

Yeah the winter has been umm really fucking nice here this year, last year there was always about 4 feet of snow, this year we're lucky if we have 2 inches that stays for a few days, the constant warm air and weather keeps melting the snow, yesterday I actually got to make a snow spider lol my partner just laughed cause I couldn't make a snow man, not enough snow and it wasn't cold or damp enough to hold in place icon_eek.gif

I'd love to see that much snow! Well, maybe not *that* much, but I'd love to have a white winter! The most I've seen was about 5 inches, on Mount Perisher in Australia. And that could barely be called snow... more mush!

Today was a cold day for this time of year, and it was 29C (85F). I wanna see some snow!
