Does Saturday Night ever feel like Sunday Night to you?

Our office was closed Friday due to the mf'ng blizzard (and we're to get another one at the end of next week, maybe). So, I was hanging out with my shovel most of Friday, but it felt like Saturday because I was home, completely mindless between episodes of shoveling and then I drank a bottle of wine Friday night because I need the anaesthetic effect (man, nothing shows your asymmetrical nature until you gotta shovel). I got up today and it felt like Sunday because it was a second day off in a row. I didn't go to the gym this morning either in order to recover from using muscles I never use (yah, ok, i gotta expand my gym routine but I don't think that'll cover it) and man am I sore today. It was a sofa day, a Sunday. I don't feel like going out tonight and I usually feel obliged on a Saturday night. Man, this global warming shit is really harshing my buzz.

Its Saturday night. How do I know? I'm doing something I hardly ever do. Go out. Meet somebody. Get their phone number. Call them Sunday morning and have sex.

I've been messed up with the days all week. Last night certainly didn't seem like a Friday.

Doing the reverse woodchopper on a cable machine will develop the muscles you use for shoveling.

I notice this during one of our recent blizzards and took these picks for a laugh for my PT demonstrating the similarity of shoveling and doing the reverse woodchopper.

    *Grab the cable*

    *Pull up with arms extended*

*End with arms up over shoulder level*

why, yes. at times it does. as I age, the days seem to blend and time is this out-of-sight out-of-mind constant.
